Stop entertaining the trolls . Obviously this guy just lives in the land of needing negative attention for some bizarre way. Maybe it’s Postle lol

Got it mate, sorry I am steaming. Wont happen again

However, a small number of people have been banned for making frequent no-content posts which appear to be for no other purpose than being contrarian (aka indistinguishable from trolling).

Either post better or you will join the list of banned posters.

If you come up with some kind of COUNTER Argument people will probably listen to you (more then they do now), but just arguing because you want to argue does not go down well.

A couple of 100 posts back i was accused of being a JFK supporter, because people where just teeing off on him without any "proof" to speak off... In this thread this has happened a couple of times (in different directions) and for me that was enough to speak out a little bit...

Dont forget that at one point there were 100 pages about Justin being guilty... 100 pages about Taylor being guilty...100 pages about the commentators being guilty...100 pages about Lance being guilty etc etc etc..

As soon as someone posts "evidence" there is a short while in which the mob mentality comes out and everyone jumps on the bandwagon..this is normal and a few pages back someone actually mentioned the term for it as well....

No. You offer zero contra evidence, none. Your claims are akin to the of the online poker riggie, all feelz, no facts. Except, inspite of overwhelming evidence, far far beyond a preponderance, you steadfastly stand there ignorant to it all and share feelz and hunches.

Some people have put in many hours of work clearly showing evidence of wrongdoing, pay attention and stop clouding the thread. Post evidence contradicting the tons of evidence shown or kindly stfu and stop trolling.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Since I seem to be in the mood for posting mod stuff:

Suzzer and others,

Calling for any mod action in a thread (make it stop, where are the mods?, ban, mods cmon, trolls should be banned, etc., etc, etc.) is against the forum rules with penalty of a one day temp-ban.

I will give Suzzer a pass on this one, but further posts like that will result in a temp-ban.

Plenty of mods are reading/monitoring the thread and there are several ways to report posts to the forum mods.

Okay?

Even if the proof isn't 100% certain, the civil claims are going to be decided based on a balance of probabilities where the likelihood of him having to pay out would be very high. Any dollar in his bank account / any legal asset is likely to be subject to forfeiture. Gotta get he warrant to check under his mattress imo.

Can anyone do some kind of a lookup to see where washoe is located? Would not be surprising if he was conveniently posting from a location close to where postle is known to be living.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

This deserved its own post so i made a separate post.

To everyone that says that they are shocked it was not noted by the players in seat 1 and 3.....

I have been spectator (daily) of a cash game here in a casino where it turns out the dealer was favoring the player in seat 1 or 9 (he always had the same seat) by stacking the deck and peeling cards. The guy always had a large winning session (the game was 2/5 nlh) and won like 500/600 every single day for months... No one saw it happen and no one even THOUGHT about him cheating and called him a lucky so and so..This is with 7 or 8 people playing him EVERY single day for months.....But this guy actually on occasion folded (face down) the best hand to not make it too obvious he literally could have won every single hand....

It's just like when anything big happens with Russia and a ton of new posters show up in politics saying all kinds of ridiculous stuff - going off in 100 directions at once. Then disappear as soon as the event is over.
Well said. I had been replying to posters like him, some of which have been banned already, and eventually I reached the conclusion (that others already have) that if we just don't engage with them, they might stop. They just want the attention anyway.

Hopefully, if outsiders read these forums and see ranting posts like his and no one engages, they can see them for the trolls they are, but maybe I'm too optimistic. I have no problem with people posting replies to them making it clear to all how absurd their "points" are.

Re: Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)

Here's a guide for people who want to defend Mike Postle:

I get it. I understand contrarianism. My parents (especially my mother) are contrarians. It's a lot of fun to go up against the prevailing wisdom. And to be clear- once in awhile, the prevailing wisdom is wrong. Richard Jewell didn't bomb the Olympic Park. The McMartin Preschool administrators and teachers were innocent. So contrarianism is important.

But if you want to defend Postle, what you need to do is not simply scream "witch hunt" or talk about presumptions of evidence, but actually come up with explanations for his actions.

Most importantly, in the hands. Postle told Mike Matusow that he's one of the best players in the world. So what was he doing in the JTo hand, where he calls the flop against a set of 9's and then folds the turn when he makes top pair? What was the mathematical or strategic or live-tell basis for all those crazy river bluffs that worked, etc. You want to put the work into this? We'll listen. Heck, a lot of people are watching Postle in these videos. You want to be his defense team? You can put in the work too- watch the other players! Maybe you will pick up some tell that Postle might have noticed, in their actions or their sizing or something. It's not going to be impossible to do this if Postle is actually innocent.

And then you also have to explain Postle's actions. Why does he look at his crotch and play with his hat? Why does he seem to know whether other players' cards are registering in the RFID? Why does he play like a God in some sessions and then play like a completely different player/playing style in other sessions? Etc.

There's plenty of room here for an actual Postle defense attorney. But a lot of people here have put in a lot of work. You want to play devil's advocate? That's fine- I don't mind a good devil's advocate. But put the work in and come up with something plausible. Don't just shout "witch hunt".

Thank you my friend. It is all the attacks from strangers I am not used to. And it seems most of the posters here already see him hanging and are going all in to push u out of the pot with ure opinion.

Guess have to get used to this aggressive behaviour here. Guess we are all poker players..

Hopefully this whole thing will get solved soon. Trust me I want a clean game and if he cheated he should be punished.

nobody has to explain ****, the vpip+winrate speaks for itself.

edit: obv it's good to dissect the mechanisms/methods that he used to pull this off, but this thread has wayyyyyyyyy too much irrelevant and useless clutter from people who wanna argue back and forth about dumb **** and debate whether or not he's guilty when it's crystal clear that he is. and idk who the **** is even following every page of this absurdly long thread

mike postle is a cheating cheater- mods could start deleting the **** out of these^^^^ sorts of posts and it'd make the thread a lot better for the casual reader

You have a different opinion and that's fine. As poker players we have incomplete information here as on the tables and are making decisions/accusations based on logic from the information that we do have. You've said a bunch of stuff without actually using any information or logic and while not being able to refute the solid information that people have shown while instead using a bunch of "what ifs".

Winrates/everything aside - there are 2 questions that even laypeople can understand I have not seen any good answers to that tell me he's 100% guilty -

1. How did the cards change in the 86o > 98ss hand - it must have been the graphics operator in which case how would he know what Mike has - no good explanations for this.
2. Why does a guy use his phone all the time at a table for 6 months - then suddenly the phone is very secretive. He can be shown to still be using it a lot, but now there's something secretive he doesn't want anyone else to see - yea you can say he's watching girls gone wild 24/7 or w/e but really, what is this consistent with besides cheating?

Those donating the proceeds from the lawsuit should consider donating to Kevin Racks' family. So evil to cheat knowing the story and who you are stealing money from.

Lol this thread is really bringing all the old long gone posters out of the woodwork.

Yeah and I think you can add to that:
3. What's up with the obvious bulge in the hat?
4. Why does he tank *only* (according to Matt Berkey) when he's closing or close to closing the action on a raised pot preflop. (IE - waiting for the stream to catch up)?
5. What app or website could have possibly created that bright blue screen

Mike Postle definitely has an accomplice. Someone helping him change the graphics from 68o to 89s magically

The PLO hand where Postle was asking why only 2 cards were displaying, he clearly had access to the live info. On the turn, when he faced a raise, he made a show of having 4 cards not 2, trying to let whoever was watching/helping him know that he can only see 2 cards

I'm not sure that his has been brought up yet but I think the positioning of his chips before and after godmode could be be very telling.

Not Godmode. Chips directly in front of him and phone on table.

Godmode on. Chips to his left allowing the slide back of his cards to the rail and a quick peek at the crotch.

Ivey has his own legal problems to worry about, plus the guys you mentioned aren't the voices of poker anymore. Plenty of top pros have come out and vocalized their opinions that they suspect foul play.

The specific pros you mentioned, -negreanu, just don't want to be involved, there are people taking care of it. Joey Ingram, Doug Polk, Matt Berkey, and Jonathan Little are all doing an amazing job covering this. Just bc some old names aren't voicing their opinions publicly does not mean they don't think he is guilty. How about you name a pro that thinks he didn't do it? The burden of proof is on you. Please don't come back with Mike Matusow.

This guy is living proof that common sense is not common.

IF this correlates with him winning all of the sudden. Since June 18 godmode right? Then u have a case.

From what I understood is u have tapes of him not winning before and THEN boom he looks at his crotch and wins every hand. If it is that black and white then...u have a case..

Sorry I have been so focused on defending him bc all I saw was veronica has a motive and Joey has a motive to be doing exactly doing what they are doing now. ( This will get me at least 3 troll comments I know. ) I still see that.

And Joey smelled blood he seemed like a fanatic not sleeping lols and very exited. Seems legit somehow.. But still crazy..not sleeping for days watching 70hours of tape nonstop. U do it c'mon!

Still hope he didn't cheat. Just for the rex guy.
