Good question, will there be a temporary replacement. Hope they get a new manager lined up quickly, I hate when they change the rules and it start from the top.

I would add the black card requirement and the fact that your comps don't show up right on the "My Borgata" kiosk if you want to find out how close you are to getting one.

good news for Borgata:

daddy (MGM) is doing well (see, "...Macau gambling revenue hit an all-time high of nearly $4 bil in March..."
http://news.investors.com/040213-650...-in-4-bil.aspx)
and
mommy (Boyd) may see him come back home (see, http://m.pressofatlanticcity.com/new....html?mode=jqm, http://www.nj.com/business/index.ssf...p_its_new.html)

Great FAQ section!

Why different cards for the high limit room?

KEM cards, they are very nice and soft and look good after some use...also more expensive than the Gemaco cards...

Gemacos are awful, hard krappy plastic cards. Once you feel the difference it's really annoying/hard to go back.

I honestly will not play 10/20 08 when it's in the low limit area because of the gemacos.

Somewhere way back in the thread (I re-read the whole thing) Stan said the 10/20 O8 uses the Gemacos because that's what the players in the game want.

For trading up to Black Label card, it says show a premium card from other casino. Does Diamond count, or does it have to be seven stars. Also, the $100 free play, do you get it that day, or do you get it in the mail based on if you lose $100? Thanks.

Diamond counts. Pretty sure it's $100 slot dollars and you get it loaded immediately into your card.

bahahahahaha! I also like the shout-out that the 2/5NL max BI isn't going up. Seriously though this FAQ is the absolute shiznit, nicely done. This should be done for all the 2+2 Poker Venue forums.

what is the post number? What I recall reading is that the players preferred to sit near the front of the room (where Gemaco cards are used.) Can not believe anyone in their right mind prefers to play a four card game with the Gemaco cards. I prefer the great comps Borgata has, than to spending the budget on KEM cards so I would not raise an objection about it though. I have some reservations about how easy it is to mark the Gemaco cards, and about how many of them end up marked before being destroyed. I am not sure how much of the blame lies with the shuffling machines. I play with KEM cards as well and they do not show up marked nearly as often.
