I think there would be half-rake at 6 players or less. If the game is just starting up you may be able to convince the floor for further reductions until more players join.
Headed down next Friday with a group from our 'home game'. Wondering what response we'll get trying to get a private mixed game table going.
Emailed Stan. Thought I'd check with the rest of the regs to see what we might expect.
Our home game is a dealers choice, small stakes (BB < $1) spread limit (10BB max bet). Most games are either HORSE or variations.
After using the search feature:
Can I assume they will only deal games that are dealt publicly.
In order to be a private game, we'll have to pay rake for all 10 seats? Does that mean time-rake? If we include S or E, do we pay for 8?
If not time-rake, then pay full rake, even when short handed?
Would a stack of chips placed at the empty spots be enough to discourage others from joining?
Smallest limit game is 2-4, fair to expect no lower?
Somehow, I suspect a few of us will just end up at the 1/2 tables...
Thank you.
