Is it still 30 hours needed for 2 comp days? Is this only on the weekdays or can you use them for saturday and sunday as well?

Probably going to AC (which means Borgota) for first trip tonight bus back tomorrow, read through alot of posts etc and know to get the comp card and whatnot, anything interesting to know for a first time visitor to AC as I really only know my local card-room in Vancouver, and its a lot different in Canada it seems.

Is there a call ahead list to put your name on the list for a game? cant find any mention of it here so assume not, although its a nice feature back home.

Can't call ahead but they do an awesome job of clearing the lists in a timely manner.

I grind 2/5-5/10 every weekend, almost 5/10 exlusively as of late. I believe my timeframe to earn a black card expires this June. I'm not quite there because for a couple months in 2012 I played at ceasars.
Any chance a reg can get the bump to black? It'd keep me loyal .

See the shift manager on duty and if you are close or if they feel like it, they will upgrade you.

I was upgraded to Black Label when I was about $250 away but, then again, I have been putting 50 hrs/week at 2/5 for the past 4 weeks.

Should be within 200-250, I'll check next weekend and ask. I am there every weekend , so I'm sure they at least recognize me, but I typically just sit and play without too much conversation with the floor/shift managers.

Borgata needs to fix their Tournament breaks situation. They cant keep having tournaments where their are 10 minute breaks after every hour of poker its just stupid. No other casino does this. It messes up the flow of the game and its not like you can sit at your table for that time period you have to get up and just walk around or stand looking dumb every hour. over an average 15 hours of play that's 15 breaks. I understand some people are old or just have weak blatters in general but a majority of the players don't and its a real heavy inconvenience to take 10-15 breaks every 1st day of the tournament. It should be at least every 2-2.5 hours theirs a 15 minute break.

You were right, the fridge is quiet and is not cold, but you put a water bottle in there, and by magic it is cold. Who else was at the Borgata at 10:15 Sunday night when the BBJ was hit at 3/6 limit? Table share was 21K and it was a full table.
