[QUOTE=BigO6377;29593658]+1 to getting something like the Bravo App to work. I definitely enjoy Stan's thorough game update posts, but a human can't possibly replace real-time automation...QUOTE]

For what its worth, Bethlehem Sands just opened their website this week. Not only does it provide a game report but also shows the waiting list!

To be clear I much prefer Borgata over anywhere else on the east coast, but am presenting this for illustrative purposes as an example of something Borgata could do.

You need to swipe your card in a slot machine sometime in November I think. Not sure the date ranges.

Btw, why the hell do the maids at borgata turn the AC down to like -1 degrees? It can't possibly be the previous guest because it happens often enough where I know that there can't possibly be enough people that nuts to want to stay in a freezer.

It is loaded as an offer but you have to do one of the following: swipe into a slot machine, open a table game rating, use your comps at one of the outlets, open a live rating in poker.

Another RE-ENTRY tournament by Borgata??? Is this type of tournament popular and in demand by the players or a new way for Borgata to make more money? I've been playing Borgata tournaments for about 5 years now, but I think I'm finished playing there. I just don't like these re-entries. Can I get others opinions, please?

Yea, I find it annoying when some a** is low stacked then donks in a double up at someones expense just before the re-buy time is over, just because they want to go re-buy. But usually you can tell who those people are, you just have to go into nit mode. Very annoying, but you adjust.

My usual complaint is that the room is too warm. I always have to turn the temp down when I get to the room. It's a bit annoying because I usually arrive late at night an just go to bed after checking in and having the room too warm makes it uncomfortable to go to sleep.

And when they service the room they turn it back down

I played at the Borgata for the first time Monday and had a great experience. I've never really played live NLHE and went with the Borgata due to positive reviews on 2+2.

Its a bit of a trek from my current digs in Baltimore but I'll be doing it again soon. If the rumored generousness on weekday room comps holds true that'd only sweeten the deal.

PS The buffet was incredible. a lot of the food tasted better then my restaurant experiences ordering the same things a la carte.

The reentries sound awesome. You have people donating chips because they know they can rebuy, if you bust early you have another shot at a +EV tournament, and they add more money to the prize pool. But I guess nits gonna nit.

Yeah, but a lot of times they turn the thermostat ALL the way to coldest. I understand setting it to around 65 degrees or so, but a lot of times it's like 55 when you step in the room

That drove me nuts. I never get my room serviced anymore (I figure I don't get my apartment cleaned daily, it's not like I need my room cleaned daily in the hotel). Back when I stayed in a room for 5 days straight this drove me nuts. I got the thermostat set where I want. Why does housekeeping touch it?!

The buffet at borgata is decent but still crappy IMO. I'm not a fan of buffets. The amphora lounge is a+ though and is the only buffet I'll eat at in town.

+1. the buffet is pretty bad imo. How can they not have French dressing in either buffet. Also it would be nice if they had crab legs every once in a while. Also what happened to the corn and barbecue chicken in the regular buffet?? C- buffet. A+ poker room

Haha to each his own. I remember the same thing coming from some guys I played with so maybe I just caught it on a particularly good night.

Well I been eating at the amphora lounge, so that definitely has upped my standards. If you're used to crappy buffets then the borgata one seems good by comparison.

Fwiw, Borgata's buffet is the best in town by a long shot. But the rest of town has really REALLY crappy buffets.

I have to say the breakfast buffet at B is good though. As much bacon as you want, and fresh eggs (premade eggs are disgusting, but there's a station for fresh eggs outta their shells). But I'd rather just go to bread n butter for that.

I do think that the Waterfront Buffet at Harrah's is above average and pretty good. But the rest of them are average or sub par. But these are the only 2 buffets I would ever go out of my way to eat at in Atlantic City. But I understand this statement aside from Harrah's Waterfront Buffet.

Have never been there.

Caesars has a very crappy buffet despite the fact it's expensive and it's supposed to be a high end casino. Taj's is absolute crap. And the idea of eating at one of the other places alone makes me want to vomit.

Nah, I've eaten at it a few times now and it has been consistently good. The thing is the buffet is not buffet quality food, it's restaurant quality food which makes it that much better. It wouldn't be something I'd pay for often because $29.95 or whatever it is is a bit expensive for me but it's still good. This is also coming from someone who has had plenty of different dining experiences, I don't have the palette of a constant TGI Fridays.

Definitely Waterfront Buffet FTW.

Also, +1 on Caesars AC buffet (I think the name is Piazza) being awful.

Caesars diamond lounge is also pathetic. I went there once (after the so called upgrades). Even though I got in for free i felt ripped off.

The buffet at borgata is 10 comp $ instead of 30 if you have a black card. But if you have a black card you should go to amphora anyway.

The Diamond Lounge at Caesar's now upgraded to have better food so it is improved in the least. But it cost $10 in comps to get in with a Diamond card. It's free if you have a 7 Stars card and you can bring several guests with you. I think Bally's has a nicer setting for their Diamond lounge.

Where is the Amphora Buffet? Where is that? I take it is not the Borgata buffet but some other?

It's free if you're diamond with 25K tier points. But it's still not worth the free entry.

The amphora lounge is next to pit 14/15. You need to have a black card for it.

I think all the CET diamond lounges aren't free anymore. They're $10 like at Borgata now. Apparantly people were complaining about the quality of the diamond lounges. Ceasars said they can make them higher quality with the $10 fee. I hear that they haven't gotten any better though (Not my own experience. What a few friends have told me who frequent the CET AC properties have told me.)
