Was at Borgata for the last two days. As always it was a great time. I have a few questions about table changing policies.

If you come from a broken game can you sit with your whole stack or can you only match the new tables big stack?

If you table change can you move you're whole stack or are you forced to drop down to the max buyin for that limit?

Also, this has been beat to death, but if I put on a 6hr session and a 15hr session at 1/2 will I start to see anything more than the Sun-Thurs room comps I have now?

Broken game u can match highest stack. Table change is like sitting down at a new table, min and max apply. 30 hours a week for comped rooms according to Stan, or it may have been 20....somebody will clarify you on that.

C'mon Stan. This is just a ploy to get the Florida football team hooked on poker so they don't play well against Alabama, right?

Thanks for the reply. I had both of these (non)issues come up yesterday so I was just curious. Both are understandable but I feel like the table change one makes it very easy for people to go south if they want to. I'm sure that conversation has been had before though.

Also, Stan, I looked for you yesterday and the day before but I'm sure you were busy. I could tell by the many conversations amongst the dealers and floor about your resignation that it has really impacted the staff. It's not only the players who will miss you.

That is an interesting conversation by the dealers and staff, and I am curious to see if they suspect an upcoming slowdown at Borgata as well, given the movement in all surrounding states, and after Parx passing Borgata Poker room as the fourth business in the country.

Been so busy at work that I haven't been down to Borgata in a couple of months, but spending 5-6 days at Spring open next weekend. can't wait!

Parx passed Borgata for only one month in which they ran their first big tourney series. Yawn

That place is awful. Parx couldn't hold Borgata's sweaty chiprack.

Is there a link to the order of busiest? or most profitable poker rooms? Or is 4th just a guess?

Stan: Many a weekend I found myself driving 3.5h to Borgata to play a 2-5 game I could have easily found in considerably closer venues. Some of this has to do with the fact that the Borgata is at a level that somewhere like C-Town can only dream of. But your impeccable professionalism and clear investment in what you do for a living not only made a significant impression on me but also filtered down to the dealers and floormen, making the Borgata hands down the best poker-playing experience within driving distance from D.C.

I, and perhaps several Wawa owners in southern New Jersey, will miss you terribly. All the best in Fla.

If you go to the mix games desk and have a couple people willing to start the game they will help you get it started.
