How are the 11am and 7pm tournaments looking on Mondays and Tuesdays this summer? I'll be up in a couple weeks and thinking of playing one. About how many runners are they getting and how long do they take to play out?

Still on vacation and relaxing but i decided to jump on see what was going on. The daily tournaments have 85 to 100 runners and last wednesday morning we had over 450.

I called the Borgata yesterday about cashback for the ACES train. They said it was a promotion offered to some people based on play (depending on whether or not you got a letter), but the promotion had ended, anyway. Does anyone have any other/opposing info?

Spent the weekend at the Borg and Taj. Saw Stone Temple Pilots, which was an awesome show at the Borg Sat night. Both the Borg and Taj were packed throughout the weekend.

BBJ at the Borg was $132k Sunday.

Played in the 4/8 HOSE for about an hour Sat afternoon. Friendly and quick. We were 7 handed when I was there. Don't know how long it lasted, but I had fun.

Hope to play here more often.

Waitress Sharon(the tall, hyper-bubbly, black girl) approaches our 2-5 table and gives some guy his drink. The dealer is slow to chop a redbird for the player, so that he can tip the waitress. She starts moving on towards the next table as the guy flips a white chip to land on her tray. She yells out, "Honey, I love when you guys throw money at me, but only when I'm on the pole". Everybody cracks up...

decided to play at the borgata this weekend as i needed a change of scenery. the action was pretty good and i played fairly well.

i have mixed feelings about the dealers there. some are great, very professional and quick. others are arrogant, slow, or just plain sloppy. the floor was definitely good/helpful though, which is a big plus. i did get carded about 17 times in one day, even though im 24 and dont really look all that young but whatever.

pretty profitable night/day altogether though.

It's Nick Frangos. I know he plays at Borgata, but I always saw him playing at Trump Taj. Last time I saw him was at Trump Taj just after the episode aired where he finished 2nd to Lisandro in the 2007 WSOP Stud tournament.
