does anyone happen to have a breakdown of comp rates for the various limits?

$1/hr @ 1/2
$2/hr @ 2/5
$3/hr @ 5/10
$4/hr @ 10/25?

Stan,

I was wondering if you could provide more details or a link to more information about the second chance and survivor events. I received my flyer in the mail today and was considering some of these tourneys but couldn't find any other information regaring how the prizes were paid out or structure.

I found information regarding events 1-21, but after event 21 the Borgata's website seems to have no information. What does ACT 1 stand for?

Thanks,
Skinz

An ACT 1 is the first step of a Super Satellite. It's the most affordable way to win a seat into a major tournament. Let's say that the Act 1 is $100 and you are trying to trying to win your seat into the Act 2 $600 Super Satellite. The winners of the Act 2 will actually win seats into the Main Event (say $3500). You can just play the $600 Act 2 and skip the Act 1 if you want.

Hopefully Tab will have all of the structures available very soon.

Does Borgata still reduce the poker rate based on hours played? I used to get the weeknight rate at $79 (I think) that went to $59 with 4 hrs and $39 with 8 or something like that. Does that still happen or is it a flat rate now?

Question about comp dollars:

I played in the pink game on Sunday and clocked out after 8+ hours. On the computer screen it said my points earned were 6.24. Just checked my balance online and it is indeed $6.24. (Had spent all my prior dollars before sitting in the pink game.)

Do you mean to tell me the 7.50/15 game only earns you 75 cents an HOUR? Or was there some mistake? I was under the impression that 2/4 and 3/6 got you a dollar an hour and that pink was $2 an hour.

Stan, any clarification? I can PM you with my name and account number if needed.

Pink was $2/hr when time was charged. Now that it is raked, it *should* be $1/hr. At least that is what I thought Stan told me.

I played about 10.5 hours last Friday and was credited $10.43, so that seems right.

Hmm, I wonder, then, how on earth I received 75 cents an hour. I specifically saw the computer credit me with 8 + hrs played... maybe Borgata's system doesn't like me?

First time poster. I searched and couldn't find anything current, nor could I find anything on the Borgota website (I'm sure I've overlooked it). How do you qualify for these rates? I am coming up Monday the 7th to stay and play until Tuesday some time. I have been to the Borgota once but have never stayed. I would like to stay there this trip, so any information is appreciated. After reading the thread I'd rather stay at the Borgota than my usual choices.

Thanks in advance.

I'm a n00b here too, and I too am arriving at Borgata on Monday. I PM'd the poker room mgr, so between both of us asking I'm sure he'll chime in soon.

I'm planning to play 1/2 NLHE mostly...unless I have a good week this week, in which case I'll be sitting 2/5. You?

Hey Everyone,
First post here. Only play 1/2nl right now, I have played numerous times at Borgata. And recently have been able to make the trip more often than usual. Just wanted to say hi and thanks to Stan and the people who post here on a regular basis. The live game reports and information reguarding games, rules, rooms etc has made playing at Borgata a very enjoyable experience. Was down last week Tues-Fri. Heading back down tonight or tomorrow. Could I get a live game report after 6pm? Thanks!

To the guys asking about the Poker Rate, I was in your shoes a couple months ago with limited play. I wouldn't bank on getting a poker rate with under 20 hours of play. It's possible since it's September but I didn't get my offers until I had logged a decent amount of time at 1/2.

As you are aware, Borgata has an established Poker Rate, which provides a limited number of hotel rooms at a special rate to eligible poker customers.

To qualify for Poker Rate rooms, many factors are taken into account, including game type, limit, length of play, and frequency of play.

Please note: just because a customer does not qualify for Poker Rate, or the Poker Rate is not available for a particular date, does not mean the customer does not have access to Borgata hotel rooms. Borgata offers various special packages and other rates to customers through Customer Care.
