What happened to the Stud8/HOSE game this weekend?

Works been crazy and I'm moving next week so I haven't made it down in like 2 weeks. It's driving me crazy.

Good question. It went for a few hours Fri night, but that was it. Hopefully it was a fluke (everyone was distracted with the last few events of the BSO?), and it'll pick back up again next weekend.

FWIW, I'm also at the Borg Wed afternoon/nights, in case anyone's interested in playing HOSE then.

Just wanted to comment that it was great to see excellent selection of cash games Sunday during the big event. Any concerns that everyone would be in the tourney, was unwarranted. Bustouts kept feeding the cash NL tables and most of those guys were tiltaholics

Stan, it must be nice to have such a large room and the flexibility it gives you...

Also worth noting, didn't see any problems this weekend with delays on fills. Much smoother than last weekend on that. Whatever you did, it's working!

Anyone play in the 5/10 PLO/NLH game? What was the min/max buyin? i was playing 5/10nl and was finishing my session at the time so i didnt get a chance to check it out.

I also played 1/2 PLO sat night/sun morning (2 almost full games at 5am!). it was really fun, and the game was good. I hope the PLO games and mixed PLO/NLH games make it into the rotation at the borgata. I would rather play 5/5 PLO/NLH or 5/10 PLO/NLH than just strictly NLH

Stan, I also think your dealers did a good job keeping track of the PLO game while i was there. Even though i think they were wrong a couple for times at calculating the 'pot' bet they were atleast in the ballpark and ready to answer. Now we just find gotta a way to promote it more to keep the games running!

I will forgo my tournament fix in hopes that we get a game this weekend. I am going to be down all weekend. Let's get a 4/8 HOSE going - we should keep it at hose and lets not add the funky games like we did last time as I lost too much money playing that simulated razz game. Who is in and what day? Lets start the list now - also if you sign up and the game is called - please come over so we can get the game going - it was called so many times this weekend with a list of 10 plus names without anyone showing up. btw Stan how is it coming getting the real Razz into action in Atlantic City?

I'll probably be there Fri night (starting the game at 8pm?), definitely be there Sat afternoon (2pm?), and probably Sun (2pm?).

I agree that Eight or better is better than Hi/Lo no qualifier, and I agree that it will help to get the game going if people come over when the game's called.

Is the borgata offering anything (room rates) for players who are playing in the PLO games? I no one at my table knew?

That might give me a motivation to sit down in that game since I consider myself a huge donk at omaha.

is the 2 5 nl game raked or time charge. I think its six dollars every 30min? I wanted to confirm. What kind of liquor is served aside from hieneken? Is there a charge for the booze? I always tip a buck for drinks just want to make sure as am coming up next week.

I would like to take this time and thank all those that played in any one of our Summer Open events. I would like to thank my Tournament Director (Tab), he really loves what he does for a living. How many entrants does the $50k Guarantee tourney on Friday afternoon generally get? I'm debating coming down to play on Friday. Also, is the $100+20 canceled for Friday at 4?

250 is a good average and yes the 4pm is cancelled.

Stan, Is there any way to get comped free parking while playing like you can do at the Harrah's properties?

I plan to be there Froday afternoon/evening since we have off that day from work so put me on the list. I was on the list this past Saturday afternoon but ended up playing LHE since it never started. I won't be there Sat afternoon, but will see about Sat night late (after 10:00 if I make it)

Who was in the group of five or six friends who were there the last time this game ran? Were they all 2+2?

i was not part of the friends i think they were 10/20 Limit players. I usually am the one trying to keep track of the games and the only girl....
