The room is great, I love it I'm just saying, those chips are freaking annoying and tilt me hard! Harrahs has the same stupid ones, why not just get regular clay paulsons and make me and my poker playing cat "mickey" happy!
BC if they got regular clay chips everyone would complain they are dirty like they do about the Taj...

I just so happen to love the borg chips. At home the wife likes to use them to hang up the kids homework on the refrigerator. The magnets in them are super strong.

I got a letter in the mail and people were talking about it in the poker room. You need to bring ticket stub to rewards center. You can try to call customer care and see what they say. 866-my-borgata

This is totally false. If this were true they would stick together/repel each other (depending on how they were oriented) -- and I mean really stick together, not just the slight sticking people complain about. I have a Borgata chip here at home and verified it doesn't stick to the refrigerator whatsoever.

Does anyone know the likelihood of getting the poker room rate on a Saturday(8/8)? I have an offer in my account for the room rate for sun-thurs, but nothing for the weekend. I play 5-10 nl there if that's a factor. Also, if I were to call the casino, do I speak to someone in the poker room to book a room, or can the regular reservations desk handle it? Thanks for the info, it's probably already been covered, but I didn't want to dig through tons of pages.

No prob. I just hear so much at the tables there that they're magnetized, I thought I'd try to stop the myth from spreading.

Is Jason V still around? Nicky D? Elmo? Gary?

I miss the old 5-10 PL game, when 5-10 PL was actually a big game (2003).

Can't say there are too many people who are sorry to be the bearer of that bad news. What a polarizing fellow.

I doubt that on a Saturday in the summer you are going to get the poker room rate. GL though

At first I was thinking "thinly veiled brag", but $2k for a laptop sounds more like a beat IMO.

In all seriousness, nice job. If only $60/hr was sustainable.

Ya gotta love the goodies from proker monies. Especially if you are not just putting it back in your bankroll.

I remember my first 5 figure profit session. Walked into best buy, and walked out about 7K lighter....

Also, he never said the lappy was $2k, just that his win was. But a macbook isn't cheap, so it may just be close to $2k.

agreed...goodies from poker monies have extra satisfaction.
