And like I said in my previous post, as soon as you know when you want to stay and that there's availability on the online reservation form, BOOK EARLY!

I see that the poker room has a $100 tournament at 11pm on wed and Friday. Any info on how many runners they get on average for these?

Are the Water Club rooms that much nicer than the regular rooms? I had heard that they dont have a fridge or a coffee maker, which is why I never tried to book one in the past.

They have a mini fridge that is already stocked with drinks that are on sensors. So if you want to put beer in there you have to swap them out quickly lol. Never bothered looking for a coffee maker.

Are you one of the addicts that are being complained about?

NIN has valid concerns.

The addicts should walk the extra distance to go to the racebook or outside. Or does walking or going outside in the heat affect a smoker's ability to breathe?

The Bravo system has been great other places I've played and being able to see all comps on the web-site is great.

However, am I the only one seeing Fri/Sat rates that are higher than what I got by contacting Stan? I was getting $125/night on weekends and now I see $179 or more on Fridays and $229 and more on Saturdays. I just come up with a group of friends once or twice a year for 3 or 4 days but we're an "all poker" crew, averaging > 10 hours/day when we're there. I'm just wondering if it's just me. I think overall, it's a good change, just hoping I can get those weekend rates down.

Stan, is there any chance we could combine our comps? We usually stay 2 or more to a room and all put in significant hours.

The people who smoke in the restrooms are obviously douchebags, but NIN and DCJ seem to be pretty high on the douche scale too.

I will be more than happy to look at all of the play and make the necessary adjustments.

God damn I love the update to room offers, 2 rooms a week free FTW! I'm finding time to get down there soon.

One thing I don't understand though is why does it show in the room offers that most saturday's are like $159 for me, but then when I click on say a weekday to check in and want to stay through saturday, I get the normal rate of $409 or whatever it is for that Saturday? (same applies for Friday and it seems like Thursday too). The saturday's I'm looking at (was just testing, not actually booking anything yet) are not holidays, just a random saturday in August. I tried different Saturday's just to make sure, same thing.

Now if I check in on Saturday, I get the $159 offer and still get the comps for the other weekdays. Usually I reserve through phone anyway rather than online, but just want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong or offers changed somehow to not get the discount for Saturday.

So the people who say nothing and do nothing are cool. Right?

Most of my posts have been responding to what has been said. My intent was to be an advocate for "doing the right thing."

Are you clicking on a weekday more than 2 nights away? The comp and discounted rates are only good for 2 nights a week (at least, they are for me). For me, I get comp nights Sun-Thur most weeks, and discounted rates Fri and Sat. If I click on a Monday, the next page will show Mon and Tues are comp, and will show rates for the rest of the week, including increased rates for Fri and Sat.

ooooo, a suite would be wasted on me, but this sounds good.

Kudos on the new reservation/comp system. Now I just have to make time to get to the Borg.

This is amazing and will ABSOLUTELY get me to come play more in the coming months. Well done Stan and Borgata. I haven't been able to play the early part of the year but this will speed up my timeline for sure. Can't wait.

You're clearly trolling the thread (and many of your other posts seem to have similar tone) - you and Nin have made your point over and over and over. Repeating yourself until your blue in the face is really not helping.

Jeff

Edit to add - I've played at Borg many times and have never noticed this problem.

I won't be there. But, if I were, and, if you were smoking in the bathroom, someone would have a problem.

You must be pretty old if you assume that everyone is younger than you.

Just thought it was weird to see two guys so passionate about smoking in the bathroom, I guess it happens all the time in that poker bathroom? And yes, if I were smoking in the bathroom you would have a problem with it, and you probably wouldn't do anything except maybe post about it on the internet.
