I am surprised that no one thought of dropping it off at Borgata's valet. It'll cost $5 plus tip.

What could be easier than this?

And you won't need to have someone waster their time to move and/or clean the car.

BBJP requires the BEST two hands play. So AAAQQ vs AAAJJ, but the AAAQQ does NOT qualify.

If Q5 mucks/does not show. He loses pot, but wins table share.

Table share>>>pot. JJ and TT players get royally screwed.
But doesn't quad jacks still win?

That is how it works as my comp rate is now available as I just checked out of my room Monday afternoon. Larry I know you are here Thursday and Friday, so I would book Friday nights earlier then 3 weeks in advance for the summers as even a regular like me gets blacked out as it is first come first served

He probably had no idea about it, I sit and about 3-4 players have no idea about the small BB jackpot change.

This is the tables fault for not letting a rec player know, I can't see how you could "berate" or think it's this guys fault at all. (if he didn't know about it)

I got something in the mail for May promotions but it seemed like it only applied to limit players, is this confirmed?

thanks!

Correction: this is the Borgata's fault for coming up with a truly ******ed "promotion".

Thanks for the heads-up. I booked the 3rd and 4th weeks in July. In the beginning of July I am going to be in Vegas for WSOP and I am thinking about taking a few weeks off in August to do other things.

I agree, every hand should inform everybody about the new rules, like you said, this weekend there were 3-4 people at every table who didn't understand this new low bad beat.

While you could do it every single hand, and waste time. I would just do it once if I saw a new rec player sit down.

Additionally this can and should get them excited and want to play more, which is always good for the action at the table.

Plus you can not talk about it during a hand or if the hand became a bad beat it would be cancelled put

Not trolling. Didn't realize that Aces full qualifies. So there was no quads?

Nope. And if there were (Ax) they would also be smart to muck, because quads must be made up of a pocket pair - Ax would invalidate the jackpot.

Yea that is what I meant, when a new person comes to the game make sure they know about it.

The fifth, I think, in just over three weeks.

There were a couple early because the space between the big hit 3/31 and the Frenzy start 4/15 let the total build—there was little or no wait for the small jackpot to get back to $50k and set off the drop in qualifier. Now that that cushion is gone, it'll need a couple days to get back to $50k, more depending on how long it takes to hit.

The big will probably get back to $200k Sunday or Monday. It's certainly being cooperative about keeping the reduced qualifier away from weekends.

Does anyone have an idea as to when the Borgata will run its next Mini-series? I'm thinking in early June.

Yes they must be very happy that the frenzy has all started in the beginning of the week and hitting between Tuesday and Friday morning.

Forgive me if this has been asked already (grunch) but can anyone point me toward the official rules of the Borgata poker room? I probably know most of them but it would be nice to have the official reference.
