The gym has a couple of benches with free weights, all your standard weight machines, maybe 8-10 treadmills and the other cardio machines.

Actually not a bad gym. Pretty big and machines are newer.

So if there's no regular 7pm tourney tonight, anyone have an opinion on where the best weekly tourney is in AC tonight? Caesars maybe? Or maybe the harrah's 8:15 gets some overflow from the Borg?

As Caesar's has closed their poker room, I think it would be wise to check elsewhere.

My last post on here was to ask what time the Revel tourney started, not realizing they had closed down a few months prior. Apparently I only inquire about closed properties. Bizarre.

So it's Borg, Parx and Chester now I guess.

Can we connect to and play on the NJ sites from the 'living room' or the downstairs food court at the Borgata? I am mainly wondering if sites that aren't party or Borgata have been blocked by the Borgata.

Not sure if that is even possible/legal. Highly doubt that if it is, anyone at Borgata would know how to do it (they are a casino, not an IT company). And would bet my lungs that they wouldn't do it even if they knew how.

You can play on all sites but you have to pay for wifi in your room. It's like $10-$12 for 24 hrs.

So if i head to borgata and stay there for a few days and stay at the hotel, what do i need with me to deposit? Would a bank of america debit/credit card be fine? What are the limits? Could i deposit/withdraw at the cage?

When do i send in the ID since i assume that is needed once you request a cashout?

Credit cards not too good, they get denied a lot, credit card is charged as a cash advance, best option is bank transfer so have your bank account number, good news is it is instant and free

Is Borgata online poker actually working from in the hotel rooms now? Last time I was in AC it wouldnt work from hotel rooms being geolocation requires several wifi networks visible and the hotel wifi blocks other signals.

Technically no. But for awhile now, 1-2 PLO players have typically, unanimously agreed on having a $5 bring-in, mostly so it's easy to count the pot and to bring a little more action post-flop.

What were the dealers saying at the Borg? Or did you mean dealers at Harrahs? At the Borg they aren't supposed to talk about it, but they have started to slip it in a bit... One said "They have to give a refund..." then quickly backtracked and added "Well, that's my personal opinion."

Yeah I've heard a few dealers say that they're not allowed to comment on the issue.

Yes that is what they were saying, but some were talking so won't say who said what, but most tables were very chatty almost every few hours we talked about it.
