Before the pandemic, I was regularly getting either one or (sometimes) 2 weekend nights comped but (as I haven't played in 8-9 months) I get nothing. Once things get back to "normal", is there someone I can call to try & get a comped night or two?

Thanks!

Once you put in a long session or two your comps usually come right back.

Is the post room host position expected to return post-pandemic? If so, will it be the same person?

It wasn't a pandemic-related change, the position was eliminated a good bit before, so I wouldn't expect her (or a replacement) back afterward.

Live! Casino in Philadelphia is opening next week and full opening next month - I heard there's going to be poker there as well - will players be going there?

My host from Borgata transitioned there and comped me a few nights - I am visiting next month.

The casino/hotel doesn't look as big but looks like it'll be nicer than Parx. Rooms also look great with a lot of dining options.

Just announced:

"will open with a series of reservation-only preview days on Jan. 19. An official grand opening for the general public is scheduled for Feb. 11 at 8 p.m., pending approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Commission."

29 table poker room, hopefully that will open with everything else but probably fewer tables for now.

You posted that same question in 3 threads, including the new Philly Live thread. Of course theres gonna be poker there, a simple check of their website would have confirmed it.

I played all summer long through Nov. at MDL and they don't give room comps. If you're lucky you might get a $20 discount, so instead of 359 it's 339...Borgata's got an advantage over philly/pa for that reason.

I just did a "simple check of their website" and do not see any mention of poker. Please post the URL if you find it.

Do 2/5 nlh players get comped free rooms? What about 5/5 plo players?

Also will playing lower limit games with your card in bring your rate down?

Stakes only make a difference in how quickly you accumulate Express Comps. At lower limits you'll need to play longer. (A 10-hour day at a 1.50/hour game vs a 7.5-hour day at a 2.00/hour game.)

Has anyone figured out what the comp dollar per hour rate is at 1/3 yet? I remember someone saying it wasn't the same as 1/2

What about if i play table games like 3k a hand at baccarat or blackjack? Just curious.

---

So your telling me 1/3 and 1/2 players can get rooms comped for free for example they play 12 hours, they then get the same room comped as some1 who plays 5/10 for 4 hours?

1.25 is unlikely, since it (1/2nl) was 1.50 before.

I suspect it makes some difference, because you're no longer being comped solely off the poker system, which is separate from the rest. What difference it makes, though, I do not know.

Yes. I've had 7-day-a-week (aside from some holidays and whatnot) comp availability for several years, just from playing 1/2nl. I go* once or twice a month and play at least 10 hours (15 Express Comps).

(* Went...haven't been since last Feb)

If you play 3K a hand, why not just pay for a room? It's only a couple hundred bucks, but depending on how long your play, you're gonna get "free" rooms anyway (it's not really free, you have to pay like $30/nite after all resort fees, taxes, and other fees).

Thats a lie? you don't get 7 days a week u get 3/7 max, and there has to be some sort of system you must only get the basic nessecities of a hotel room playing peasent stakes im guessing low sq ft per room, lower room, smaller beds etc.
