Checked the bravo this weekend and saw an 800-1600 PLO. Thought that this must be like when Harrah's Phila lists a 0-3,000 POKER, some sort of weird error. What mixture of foreign dignitaries, oil tycoons and circus impresarios descended on the Borg?

Was there playing 5/10 last night I saw Helmuth, Nguyen was there playing in the Sat tournament last night before preparing to play today. Saw Cowboys player Austin Miles, Those are the only 3 I remember. Lots of big cash games going last night. Hell at 3am when i finally left the 5/10 game they still had even 3 5/10 tables going

barley missed it......by 5 entries.

Prize Pool to players however, is still what you would expect it to be, after the standard 3% reduction. (in fact it's slightly more) - Prize Pool to players is 4,852,400 vs, the expected 4,850,000 at exactly $5mill prize pool with 3% withheld for dealers

A bit off topic, but I'm planning a trip in May with some non-poker players, and am trying to find some time for myself at the tables - does anyone know when Water Club's outdoor pool opens for the season?

There were new chips in the Spring Open main event. Floor people were checking all of the chip stacks on breaks with black lights.

Rule of thumb for ac pools - opens memorial day weekend and closes after labor day (+/- couple days)

Supposedly, these two games were never actually approved by the Gaming Commission. It might have something to do with the fact that these two games are split pot draw games, and, they're afraid of collusion.

However, Badugi and 2-7 Triple Draw are approved/allowed in the mix. And, although these two games are also draw games, because they are not split pot games, there is less chance for collusion. Basically, collusion is often more present in split pot games than in any other form of poker.
