flushudude... so you pretty much get every friday and saturday if you wanted to use your 2 day comped at borgata?

When you mentioned you played 32 hours in 2 days in september and 27 hours at 1/2 in october... did you play like straight 15 hours each time? Or was it 5 hours then small break etc.

I'm curuious if they care more about how many hours you play per day consecutively or how much you play straight. Surely you are not playing 15 hours straight right?

I can't speak for Borgata specifically, but virtually all other casinos only care about your per day play. Whether you did 15 straight hours, or 5 hours on 1 hr off 5 on 1 off 5 on, as long as all 15 were in the same day, the intra-day breakdown doesn't matter.

Really? I mean, did you even see/hear/know what happened less then two weeks ago? You are that cheesed off over having to go to the recently refurbished Borgata rooms instead of Water Club rooms? How will you manage?

I logged in 32 hours in 2 days in Sept. and also two days in Oct. for 27 hrs in the 1/2 games. I am being comped 2 nights per week including most of the sat. except the week of thanksgiving and new year. I will be up coming up from MD this sat. and sun for the cash games and the spa.
3 nights. And not via the host. I can log onto the borgata website and book 3 nights.

I am heading up there tonight - first time in well over a year. Was curious how many PLO tables they will/should having running tonight/sat night, and at what stakes. Thanks in advance.

The Borgata Fall Poker Open may bring in great PLO action at 1-2 PLO and 2-5 PLO, anytime the Borgata has a tournament going the action at cash games is awesome... http://www.borgatapokerblog.com/

I play 2-5NL and get most Fri Sat comped except busy weekends when they expect good turnout. I play min of 5-8 hours each night. Sometimes 10+. Can do 4 days in a week if separated by days. Live 130 miles away.

1-2 buddies get a lot less mostly weekdays.

Also try calling even if web site won't comp you. If it's slow you may get a comp. room.

Wonderful 7 pm $230 you guys got running. I registered at 6:30. Take my seat at 7 and see that it's capped at 6 tables with a 15 person wait list. I ask for a refund since no one told me this is how it would be run. Denied due to a strict no refund policy. And there are six open tables in the main poker room. Makes sense.

When I called to book a room she asked if I wanted any future dates. I asked if Super Bowl Sunday was comped? She said it was so I booked a water club room.

Now I no longer have any comped rooms available. 59 bucks the lowest. Sighhhhh

I have 0 nights from now until the Super Bowl booked. It seems they took my rooms away or something.

Anyone know of comp points which were suppose to expire this month got extended at all because of hurricane sandy? I have $300 in comps from my last trip which expire in November at some point but I am not able to make it down. Can make it down in December but would only go if I still had the comp points to use

Just talked to them and all she could tell me was to stop over at borgata rewards to ask them next time I'm down there. She said that it is based on last three months of play which have been almost no cash only tourneys - but that is kind of typical for me and I used to get comps anyway. Only about 12 hours logged at cash and then this past few days I added another 20 hours to that. Maybe that is the problem and maybe the extra 20 hours will kick in soon?

Are you playing 2/5 or above? That seems to be the start point for Friday comps. I wasn't comped much until I started playing 2/5. Now as long as I book a month or two in advance I get Sunday-Friday's comped (two days a week). If I wait and book a week or two in advance then it's questionable if Friday's are included.

Well in the past, yes it was 2/5 and 5/10 only. Currently I am playing only 1/2 but I am not even referring to Friday comps. What I'm saying is all of my comps are gone. Everything for 3 months out I see zero comp days. Weird right? This is after having comp offers for the past 1.5 years after playing my first maybe 10 hrs of cash there.

Just got back from 4-day session there with tourney, cash, and table games to find that I lost all my comps for the next two months.

I realized my Borgata rewards card rolls over on November 9th, so if you have a similar "anniversary date" it may just be resetting the comps until you start logging time for this year or something.

I'm heading back again tomorrow, so I'll go to the service desk to ask.

I only play 1/2 and tourneys. I maybe log in 15 hours every 2/3 months, and I have free Sunday-Friday (except one Friday in December and one in January). Not bragging. Just find it odd when you guys put in more time and have less comps. One thing I always do though, and this goes back to before the poker play was included in the comp system, I throw a $20 in a slot machine and play it till it is gone or I win $50 (winning $50 very rare, ha ha), so maybe that has something to do with it?

...you are getting your Saturdays (and probably your Fridays too) based on your table game play (craps, blackjack, roulette) not your 1-2 NL poker play by itself, - doesn't have to do with where you live...generally lots of hours of 1-2 NL alone gets you SUN-THU...need to play 2-5 NL or 10-20 and up to get weekend nights...playing slot machines and other games outside the poker room (in addition to poker play) accounts for most of the FRI/SAT nights claimed by 1-2 NL players...

How about the amount of time you play with respect to sessions. Do you get more comps if you play once a week for 10 hrs a day as opposed to 5x a week for 2 hrs each day?

the comps are the same, the question is whether your offers improve by playing one longer session...

For most casinos a major factor for offers is your average daily play. So 1x10hr would be much better than 5x2hr. But you'd still earn the same amount of comp points, as dipce said.
