You simply swipe your card at the register and they will deduct from your meal.

the Amphora just doesn't have enough space to give a good selection of breakfast and lunch items at the same time.
Sounds good, and is that still $10 on the comp for black cards?

Stan,

Any possibility of changing the redemption dates for the "$25 for 30 hours" October promotion? It has to be redeemed by Nov. 15th, but I was wondering if you could extend it a little longer because of the storm.

wow just saw the post about the Event 1 change... this is very annoying... I already booked hotel for tonight and tomorrow. I don't really need to be there tomorrow... and now I have to spend more money and hope to find a room somewhere on Saturday... Very disappointing to hear this last minute

Looks dead here due to weather. It took me 2:45 to get here from NE philly. I heard it was suppose to snow overnight till morning. I wonder if they will have an overlay on the guarantee.

How many hours of 2/5 does it take to get friday rooms? Is it possible to get saturday rooms comped at borgata or is this basically impossible? Someone told me 20/40 limit if you play a lot... you basically get to live at the borgata room comped. But i assume this is not possible for no limit?

And for someone that plays lot at borgata and get friday comped... how much do you pay for a discounted room for a saturday?

I've heard that people who live closer to the Borgata get fewer comped rooms than those who live further, but I don't know if that is true. I get every Friday night as long as I book far enough in advance. Saturday nights are usually about $100, more on holidays and prime summer weekends. I play a mix of 1-2 NL, 2-5 NL, and 10-20 Limit. I have played 20-40 Limit on rare occasions, just one short session last year. I have never had a black card. Last year I earned 600 or so comp dollars, and this year I am on about the same pace. That would be about 300 hours of 2-5 NL, or 400 hours of 1-2 NL.

Yes it is worth coming. The games all depend on dates and days of week. If they are holding a tourny the games are great. If not but it's Thursday-Sunday it is still worth the trip.

This is not true. I live 40 miles from the borgata and I get everyday comped up to 3 days a week. I play 20-40 about 20 hours a week

Yeah, you just need to stick it into a slot machine.

While your experience adds to the evidence against the distance theory, it doesn't prove anything. I believe 20-40 players are comped extremely well, so they could get great comps no matter where they live, but lower limit players could get comped better if they live farther away.

My theory is that you get comped based not mainly on the total hours played, but more on how many hours are played per gaming day. I know one person who plays nearly every day (for short sessions) and gets no comped rooms, and others who play 2 days every other week for long sessions and get lots of comps, even though they play fewer hours total than the first guy.

The first guy lives very near AC, as should everyone who plays many short sessions, and the others live considerably farther away. This could be giving some people the impression that comped rooms are based on distance from AC, when it is really based on session length. It also makes sense to me that if they are going to give someone a room, they want to make sure they are doing lots of playing while there.

From everything that i know about our system, distance has nothing to do with comp rooms.

Can someone give an update on the gas situation along the Garden State Parkway?
I'm looking to drive down from NY on Saturday, but only have enough to get down to around exit 120.

Are the service areas jacked with super long lines? Are they experiencing gas shortages? It's a real pain in the ass here in the metro NYC area.

Thanks

I'm at exit 125 and you shouldn't have an issue at any rest stop around here but you need to make sure your license plate in eligible.

NY/Long Island will be starting to ration odd/even starting tomorrow-

check out this site-the map is NYC/LI, but if you search city, state you will get a list of stations, select a station and it will show if gas is available

I do almost exactly as the person chillrob described. I live in Brigantine and come 5-6 days a week for 2-4 hrs per session at 2-5 and don't get comped.

Last year when i lived in dc and took trips i was comped two nights a week, usually h2o club.

I also lost my once daily parking comp which is especially annoying as a super frequent visitor. They may have done this on purpose as well once their system realized they could hit me for that extra five six days a week -- mean of them.

Some higher limit players can get more than 2 nights comped by talking to a poker host.
