I believe the website said the Borgata rooms are opening, but the adjoining Water Club won't open for another week. So probably depends on which tower you have reservations.

where there is a will, there is a way, you can get to Camden via cheap trains and buses from NYC for about $10, then take the NJ Transit 551...

Plan to come down on Tuesday still from Long Island. Anyone got any word on any gas crisis in AC? Long Island has lines about 100-150 cars deep at any given time with about a 2 hour or greater wait to get gas.

I got a full tank of gas but don't want to come home with a 1/4 tank and have to wait on these lines. I heard from a friend in Paramus, NJ that he saw a line that could have been 2-3 miles long on Thursday...

You should be fine by now...I drove across Route 539 this evening and did not see more than 1 car at a gas station.

Honestly, I was in AC on Friday night and tonight (Sunday night), and you wouldn't even be able to tell there was a storm that just came through. Everything is back to normal physically. It's a ghost town as far as people is concerned but i think that's just because of the media coverage of this storm. There are no signs or remains of flooding, no down trees, no down power lines. The city looked 100% back to normal tonight and gas stations up and down the black horse pike are open.

+1 to the above poster. My family and I were there for an overnight stay at the borgata tower. Everywhere throughout the casino, it was business as usual. The exterior and the landscaping were all cleaned up.

Also, buyins for 2-5 NLHE didn't jump.

I am per-registered for this tournament for Day 1B and I plan on playing.

Will the registration/tables be upstairs just as the previous open tournament was?

Borgata has said that the Open will run as scheduled with all guarantees in tact. Borgata doesn't mess around when it comes to their Poker Opens.

Wow, thanks for posting that. That's somewhat of a pain in the a**. Already registered for Day 1A but I can't be there on Thursday. Also need to reschedule my Saturday. I know Borgata wouldn't do this unless they really needed to though, so I'm sure it will all work out.

Stan or TAB, do I need to do anything so that my Day 1A Registration will be honored on what will now be Day 1B?

I registered for the original day 1b. Does that mean I must still play on Thursday or is it automatically moved to Friday? This causes room reservation problems now and personal scheduling problems for Saturday, the day I was to return home for family reasons. Kind of screws the pooch. Can I now get a refund on my registration fee? It seems like the right thing to do. And who do I talk to about getting a refund processed?

I don't make the decisions at Borgata.

But Day 1B has been moved to Friday, November 9. I believe that this day is your day.

It would be a good idea to call Borgata and clarify and makes the changes that suit your needs.

Hi. Gotta a quick question I hope someone can help with. For comps, do I need to get a comp ticket from the poker room manager or can I just swipe my card at a restaurant. (Specifically, I was thinking about the Bread and Butter place or the food court.) Thanks for your help.
