Has anyone here played the 7.50-15 LHE or OE? I'm wondering if they were "normal" games or crazy?

Well Sunday night until the game broke this morning around 6am it was very loose and lot of action. Great game though if you can handle the swings.

Love the Borgata....Best poker room in the country.....BUT....anyone notice that it was starting to get a bit smelly in there? The room started smelling musty and stale. Now the past few weeks, I think they have been using some type of automatic air freshners. Now the room just smells like musty air freshner. Also, the tables could use a good cleaning. The cup holders are dirty and there is tons of dirt building up on the edge where the felt meets the armrest. Just dont want to see the room start turning into the taj where you could catch any random third world disease just by looking in the direction of the poker room.

It would be cool if live game updates were on the Borgota web site

Any chance of this happening, Stan?

There was a reason for the smell and we took care of it. The fall-out may be with us for a day or two LOL. I will take care of the tables tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

I also think you have to give them a little slack since it's the build-up of an entire summer's worth of play

Whats the status of the 5/10NL game at the borg? Is it a lot of regs even on the weekends? I had a few friends who would swear its easier to beat than 2/5.

By lustre, I assume you mean pink chips haven't accumulated enough e-coli.

I totally get the fact that there is a ton of traffic in there and its hard to keep it clean. Just wanted to mention it since it has been mentioned by others at the tables while I was playing there.

Ive had a few friends play in it. Its approx 4 or 5 regulars. Much more tame game than 2/5.

I played pink chip LHE from 2:00pm until 10:00pm on Sunday - I had the Ravens hat on. It was a lot of fun. When I got there, there was one game running, and I was about 5th on the list for a second game. Soon, they called the second game, so I got a seat there. We never got a full table, but were playing shorthanded - 6 handed (or 5 for a bit), which was GREAT since that is usually what I play on-line. Plus, the other 5 players were mostly passive, calling down my good hands, and laying down hands several times to my bluffs. 4 of them were eventually felted.

At 3:00 or 4:00, the main table got down to 5 or 6 handed and they didn't want to play with that few, but we were having fun playing short handed and we didn't want to break our game (plus I was making some good money), so eventually the other game quit and they joined us. I see why they didn't want to play shorthanded - that table had a whole bunch of real solid players. When we became the main game and were 10 handed, the game got much tougher.

The game had a variety of play. Sometimes the table was so tight that the blinds were chopped. Once I saw the blinds chopped twice in a row. But there were also hands with 6 people seeing the flop for 2 bets, or 4 players in after a preflop cap. Some people played very tight, and others were less tight but always opening for a raise, and some attempted a few bluffs. I saw 2 bluffs fail, but who knows how many others succeeded.

Stan made an appearence to try to start a second PCG some time in the evening, but I don't think it lasted long. When I left at 10:00, someone was happy to take my seat - so I think there was still a list for the one table at 10:00pm. Hopefully the interest in the PCG continues - I can't wait to go back to the Gata and play it again.

I ended up a slight winner, but mostly I went to have fun and in that respect, it was a success. I really enjoyed the players I talked to. Everybody seemed very nice and friendly, and no one was upset when they lost or rubbed it in when they won (unlike the HUGE argument that broke out at a 1-2 NL game early in the evening).
