Borgata does not "meet/beat the competition", but depending on your previous rated poker play, you may qualify for a poker room rate. PM Stan to see if you might be eligible.

How did the Sunday Survivor event(s) run? There was no posting on the # of entrants. Do you have a report on how it was received?

Also, if you can, when did yesterday's (Monday) 11am $100 event end?

Thanks for the info. I only played about 12hours of $1/2 so I don't think I'd get much of a break on the rate. We're going to try the Showboat and if it's lame we'll cab it on over to Borgata.

Anyone have any opinion on the new cards? So far I don't really like them. I have to check my cards twice a lot, also the backs blend together more (kindof like zebras).

They're now using Gemaco cards. The printing of the rank and suit seems to narrower and the backs have a pattern the tends to blur together. So far I'm up 9.5 big bets so I officially change my position to 'like'.
