Stan,
Can you share with us, who are "THEY"? 2plus2 or Borgata?

I'm planning to head to the Borgata tomorrow afternoon so you know there'll be at least one person there.

I'm taking a bus into AC. What's the best way to get to the casino? Jitney? Cab?

2+2 is a forum with rules and regulations that must be followed. "THEY" are the people that post on 2+2. They have the right to question whether or not my live game reports violate any forum rules. The rules are being looked into to see if their claim has any validity. Until the final decision is made i can not provide the live game reports. I am still apart of the 2+2 community and i can still answer questions.

Both are reliable, Jitney is the cheapest way.

I just learned from experience...the cabs are the most expensive in America. Bus station to any casino will hit the maximum fare of 13 bucks (plus tip, say 15). Each way makes it 30--kind of defeats the purpose of taking a cheap bus ride. Jitney is pretty reliable and a couple bucks each way.

Stan,
I appreciate the time you have taken to fill us in on what is going on in the poker room. Also, all of the positive feedback from the other posters, is what has interested me enough to want to come there all the way from Florida. I hope you get to keep it up.

In 24 hours, I will be at Borgata at a 2/4 LHE table getting my drink and raising blind UTG on.

Thank you for the clarification Stan.

If all poker room managers had your initiative, the card room experience would be enhanced. You have no competition in AC, only pretenders.

I appreciate those kind words. Alabama is going to take you down though!
Been trying to contact my family in Mobile tonight but cannot. The storm must be too bad.

I'm not a big Gator fan but I will say that they will struggle covering the spread most of the time. And then a big game comes along (like the SEC Championship game) and people will factor in their struggles and think it will be close and the Gators end up killing them. I have seen that in the past. In the Big games they play much better.

No doubt they are a good team. I just want some payback for last year.

I must be wrong about the number of posts being 5. I still can not PM you.

Very soon. Tab and I finished the schedule yesterday. Marketing received it today and hopefully it will be up very soon. It is a great schedule if I say so myself. We have it all this year. No-Limit, Limit, PLO, Omaha H/L 8B, O.E., H.O.S.E., Heads-Up, Deep Stack, Re-Entry No-Limit, Ladies (Hopefully), Seniors, 6-Max, $2 million Guaranteed Main Event, $3,500 (1017 Entries last year).

where else are you gonna play? Taj? No one has close to the spread of games the Borgata has, and im assuming the only people who really need the updates play the oddball games.
Learning that the PCG was running convinced me to drive down one Saturday.

Plus its interesting to see how the number of games ebbs and flows.

I'm heading down there in about 3 hours or so. Will be playing some 1/2NL off and on until Wednesday evening. If you see my tall lanky ass in my brown hoody and PennState hat feel free to say hi. Unfortunately the Mrs. won't let me bring the laptop so I will have no connectivity :/

Love the poker room weekday rates and the free parking coupons!

can you reserve/pay for a room with a debit card or only a credit card?

You can use a debit card. I did it for my last reservation. If you are paying for the room, they will change your card the total amount (room & taxes) at the time you make the reservation. Also, a card is required at check-in for a $150 per night deposit. In this case, they will only put a "hold" for that amount on your card. Usually the hold stays for 3-4 business days and then comes off. If you use a debit card, it will reduce your available funds by $150. I recommend using a credit card for check-in, if possible. If you end up charging items back to the room, you can always change cards at check-out.

The game reports are incredibly interesting, and it was discussed many many pages ago that as long as they were only provided on request, they were within the rules. It's disappointing to see this issue coming up again and I hope TPTB allow them to continue!

The internet never ceases to amaze me. The live updates are literally in one thread and are nothing but simple statistics that give people an idea of what the room atmosphere is like on a particular day. How can anyone be against that? I think all the AC rooms should pick up their customer service a bit and do the same thing in their own threads. Perhaps they would be too embarrassed? It's 2009, we should have live webcams in this thread for god's sake.

+1 for excellent customer service. Thanks as always Stan.
