It will be rather disappointing if it's only holdem rather than all limit games.

I am not sure how i feel about this promo, but it is something different. If the WPT$ promo is happening next month plus the $3 per hour,i will probably be playing some limit poker.

Hi, I'm looking to play mid-high stakes ($1k buyin+) PLO games- how often does PLO run these days and what stakes? Thanks!

PLO has been a daily affair lately. Two 2/5 games last night, one was a must move. Main game was pretty deep. Max buy at the 1/2 is $500 but it's a good game.

With so much complaining in this thread it amazes me that Scott still wastes any of his time here.

Yeah, finding out what your customers like and don't like is clearly a waste of time for a business.

Scott hasn't done anything since he's come on, he's never spent any legitimate time helping here.

was it just a verbal confrontation, like when they go "you throw the first punch"; "no, you"; "no, you" or did they actually come to blows?

My experience has been that whenever it actually escalates to violence, it takes security a helluva long time to get there. They like to puff out their chests and act mighty tough when they are making the poker pull rounds at the table, but if they might actually have to stop a fight, they tend to disappear into the background somewhere and wait for the all clear signal to put in an appearance.

I was a table over fom the action,so a player from the table filled me in on the details.Player A(seat 5?) threw chips at Player B(seat 1), then Player B gets up from his chair and player A rushed him taking him to the ground.Player B got off the ground and took Player A to the ground. Player A ended up on top and they traded blows. It lasted less than 2 minutes.

I deleted it for you. Looks like you got away with one here, it would've been deleted if seen sooner. Any transactions need to take place in the marketplace, not here.

Hmm, okay.

So the $3 WPT is only for JP eligible games too? That's a change from the past.

I have been switching between Tampa and Bonita Springs for PLO (with an occasional Sarasota expereince), and the Tampa PLO is right in the middle as far as the level of sanity players have. I enjoy playing at HR because of nicer seats, comps, and more transient players. Fort Myers has a better BI structure. There are no mandatory straddles and you can buy in for 150BB+ (1000BB in the 5/10 game). PLO is a game where 100BB makes you playing for stacks by the turn in bigger pots instead of the river. Personally I think there should be a game with no straddle but the straddle attracts the gamblers, it's a catch-22.

Also, run it twice would be nice, Sarasota and Bonita do it. If I have to play a 1500 pot at 1-2 stakes I would be happy to reduce variance when equities run so close.

^^^All valid points.

Except, you can run it twice in the 2/5 PLO game at THR.

Heard a rumor from a dealer the other night that they may be going to 9-handed as the standard and only going 10 when the room is really busy...please let it be true!
