I may be off by one or 2 entrants, but it definitely only paid 8 - not sure about the normal Hard rock payout structure. Seemed normal enough since it was around 10% of the field so i didn't question it.

Actually I thought the tourney was at 12:30 yester. After that booboo, I was just waiting it out for the tourney. Stud is my fav game and I went pretty easy on them. I did snag some monsters though to book a nice win for stud.

Also, Antonio Tarver was playing 5/10/20 shorthanded early this morning. Super nice guy.

I was told today that 159 got the 28 hours and 150 took the Ipod and only 9 took the tourney ticket. Next week they will most likely be running out of the Ipod and People will be getting the tourney tickets so should be alot more runners next week.

Also a few months ago they changed the payout structure for tourneys that used to be 51 players made it go from 5 payouts to 10 payouts to 10% of field payouts.
So thats why 79 players last night payed only 8 spots.

Is anybody up there now? Any decent 2/5 games going now (or usually on a Friday night)? I would assume so - trying to decide if it's worth fighting Friday afternoon traffic up 75.

TIA.

The weekend seems to have a lot better games than during the week for obvious reasons. If you find yourself on a pretty hard 2-5 table just get a table change - you should be able to find some pretty good action on Fridays and Saturdays in general.

That's cool, my friend who deals there told me about him playing the $500 SNG since way back before they even had NL tables. I wonder how often he still plays? Is he any good, or did you get to see?

He used to play even when it was $2 straight betting. I have played 1/2nl with him a few times, all pre Rocky Balboa. lol

I looked for you 4 ducks, u must have moved. Crushed PLO tonight. Bought on for $300 and left with over $1300 after about 4 hours...ran like god never having an all in before the river where I didn't have the hand already won , The game was 1-2, with about half the table straddling.

Good playing Eddie...when are they getting the PLO games going these days...long drive for me and I don't want to go all the way down there to play hold 'em...Sundays still pretty consistent?

Yeah, I was the pretty good action that night.

Dropped just over $1K at 2/5. Best hand in 8 hours was pocket 8s, flopped a boat on an Ace high board, everyone folded. Uptick a whole $45. whoppidty doo.

Gotta love poker.

I'm planning on heading to HR Monday afternoon/evening from Sarasota if anyone's interested in carpooling up there or just meeting to get something to eat.

Was able to sell an iPod for 200 yesterday. Probably could have got more selling it on the internet, but 200 cash up front is cool, plus he is a nice guy.

I was told tonight that they're out of iPods. The supervisor I talked to said that, as far as she knows, they're not ordering more but it's possible that could change. (I wouldn't bet on it.)
