It wasnt about my play, it was the fact that he limp calls KK pre, then chk calls 3 streets with it. excellent!

and my thinking was he has either openended on flop that now has middle pair, or a Queen with a kicker that gives him some sort of straight draw that would now fold, unimproved for 250 more on the river.

pretty sure its illiegal for them to not allow you to sit, if you have more than the minimum buyin. amiright?

Can you get me more info on this game, I have a couple guys that would get into this game in heartbeat, they are big players here at the Horseshoe.

They rented the table out and supervisor said I can't sit. And the players wouldn't let me either.

the hardrock does have some dumbass rules, but almost 100percent sure they cannot refuse to let u play in the game if u have the minimum buyin or before...


take for example. i was playing 2/5plo in venetian last yr with Frank Cassellla (WSOP POY this year)
he started talkin **** and challenged me to a HU match 5/10 5k minimum which i gladly accepted. We started the game and tried to make it HU but the floor ruled that under law, they cannot refuse any other player to sit, if they had the minimum, which resulted in our game filling up within an hour.

Frank got lucky and got even, i won 4k, and as soon as Frank left, the game broke. I guess he got the last laugh though winning over a million this summer :-(

Since its a private game that means the players are not only having a time raked game but they are also paying to rent the table, i believe its 200 for 2 hours or something near that ball park---there for it is a private game

bought in for 10k i think it was 7 or 8 handed, 2 huge stacks, everyone else probly around 10k

flop K66ss. he bets 300, call, fold, i call. Turn is a spade. He pots it. other guy calls, I repot, he shoves, i call. River is whatever, he has KKxx

I've been a semi-reg at the Hard Rock for about a year and have been on 2+2 for longer than that but I've never been to this subforum/thread until I saw a guy on 2+2 on his iPhone at the table tonight and he told me about it. Not really sure what to say other than can some of you please start signing up for the 2/5 (or even 1/2) PLO game?

The 10/25 game was a bunch of guys from a home game that were trying out the rock. The players didn't feel like they were being taken care of and are going to move the game elsewhere, probably Silks.

While you can't have a private table in Vegas I'm guessing the Seminoles can do whatever the f*** they want.

One potential problem is that the largest denomination currently at the Silks are $100 chips. Aside from this, it's a much better place for a private game.
