LOL casino prices. Spending extra for high-end cuisine is one thing, but paying >2x-3x what you'd pay at a local supermarket for ordinary stuff like juice is silly. I'd rather have the extra money for gambling.

Also, imo the lunch buffet is a much better value ($3 more) than breakfast.

I will leave this comment alone, do not mess with our breakfast buffet, I eat the breakfast buffet and am set for the day.

I hear you.

Believe it or not, some idiots go to bars and pay FOUR TIMES the retail cost for a beer!

No wonder they're broke all the time!

What you do not like high fructose corn syrup that adds up to the daily amount of sugar you should have in your whole diet a day in an 8 ounce glass.

Sorry to take this deeper OT, but how is there any corn syrup in 100% fresh OJ?

what they serve on the casino floor, the buffet, and the poker room is called
oj but does not resemble it. the stuff they serve in the poker room tastes like tang...its really gross, sucks, and probably does have an extra 15 grams of corn syrup or sugar thrown in. If they tried to serve the stuff to laboratory animals, the ASPCA would have a court order to shut the place down within 24 hours

Actually, Borgata's chips are great. Some people, however, have a difficult time with them, for some reason.

Also: they are not magnetic.

I think I know the answer to this, but I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread since 2009... Is the New Year's Eve action usually amazingly good? Planning on putting in a marathon session starting in the late afternoon and playing into the wee hours. Thanks!

There is no such thing as fresh OJ unless you personally buy an orange and squeeze it yourself, look on the back of a cheap OJ bottle, like somebody else said, the stuff served at Borgata does not taste or look like real OJ

And I agree, stop complaining about the damn chips, they look clean and take some time to get used to and are a little slick but just deal with it

New years eve action is on the light side. The afternoon is OK but it gets slow around 9 or so.

FYI if you have a Wegmans near you they do sell real fresh squeezed OJ. They make it at the store.

You know, there are other things to eat at the Borgata buffet aside from the orange juice.

How do the comp dollars work? I couldn't really understand the lady when she was explaining it to someone else. Its 1:1 at bars and restaurants and 2:1 at cafeteria and borgata stores?

Read the signs by the registers, for each place. Think they put them there to be annoying and make you use cash. Some places have a sign by the door s though.

Cafetria stuff in basement, and the stuff going to the parking garage are 2 for 1. The casino floor restaurants and room service are 1 for 1.

Or simply any restaurant other then downstairs is 1:1, any store that you buy stuff is 2:1, even food in the borgata gift stores.
