You do realize that he is not checking in at the actual room and that he has to go to the front desk (which is probably only a little bit closer than the water clubs front desk).

This post is false. Front desk is less then 1000 feet from the elevator (to the rooms) lobby. If the line is manageable, you will have no problem checking in on break. Can't hurt to tell them you are playing in tourney and may be a bit late at check in though. Worst comes to worst, you check in on dinner break.

Anybody on here ever play that 3pm survivor they have on Sundays?

Wondering approximately how late it finishes up?

Thanks.

Are you serious? What was false in my post? I was pointing out that the front desk is not ONE HUNDRED feet away from the event center as the other poster said. Stop being so dramatic.

That is not what I said was false. You said:

That is not true. It is VERY close to the Borgata Elevators (unless you use a walker or something).

And as for being dramatic, what drama did I cause? I just pointed out your post was wrong. Sorry if I bruised your ego.

Are you really this illiterate? He said the EVENT CENTER was 100 feet from the HOTEL ROOM. I said he doesnt check in at the hotel room (it will be during a break). You really have no clue what you are talking about and sound really petty.

I want to get a head start on that but obviously dont want to play where those hours would be counted as the previous year.

So does it start January 1st? If so why does it show January 18th is last day for me to hit black label? Or does everyone get a different date depending on whatever it may be?

Also if i hit black label, will i get free slot dollars or anything like that? I see you get this if you are diamond card and thus trade up for black label and get 100 slot dollars and a free room.

And does anyone here who is black label but only play poker get any slot/matchup freeplays?
You have from Jan 19th 2013 to Jan 18th 2014 to earn a black card.

If you do anything before the 18th it will be for naught.

Give it a rest and move on. I can walk from the event center to the hotel lobby in two minutes. I've check in many times before 4 pm at the borg including on Saturday and most of the time there's nobody inline prior to 4 pm, or u can call them ahead for late checking which is till 11:59 PM. He could be busted out in the tourney early and have plently of time check in. GL anyway!

LOL. We all know this. I am at Borgata daily. Have also had to check in during tournament breaks before. The original post said the water club was 3 blocks away while the borgata was 100 feet away. My point was that he has to check in at the FRONT DESK and it is the HOTEL not the front desk that is close to the event center as the B's front desk is not that much closer to the wc's front desk.

...everybody has a different day, don't worry about it too much, if you miss the day because you are working or with family, the next time you come in and make your black label, you are good to go...(you just have to make the 1000 within a one year period of time, points earned within the past twelve months are counted...the hours would only not be counted in the previous year if they were more than 12 months away, but if you are that close, someone will work with you to get there...)

one good thing about Borgata is that they honor black cards from other properties, it is an excellent idea that keeps the property extremely competitive...

They love poker players. If you play regular - including regular schedule trips this is not always the case.

I think since the schedule on the website and front page of the thread says 2 Day 1s (15th and 16th) and one Day 2 (17th) It would be 3 or 2 days depending if you play one or both day 1s

Its a 20k starting stack (as stated on the schedule) with 30 and 40 min levels (as stated on schedule). I think it will be a pretty well structured tourney. Not quite an all in fest

Pls read threads/search button next time.

88keyz, what he's referring to is this thread:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/65...b-1-a-1271889/

Almost every tournament series from any casino will have a thread in that forum.

I always do my reservations online so I never have the option to book a suite or other upgraded room, so I wonder if by booking over the phone in the future I might be able to schmooze my way to a better room.
What is the advantage of the Water Club - Vista Room?

Quick question: does the borgata do similar to Caesars in that you can list a "companion" in the same room as you in order to get a reduced rate?

Like can me and my friend call up and ask for a combined rate for a single room?
