2 absent buttons plus another 15-20 minutes. Your mistake was leaving right before a dealer change so you instantly got the first absent button. If you had waited a few minutes you would've had another half hour.

I "think" there is a new policy that is 3 absent buttons before you are picked up obviously this didn't happen to you. It's always a good idea to wait and play one hand with a new dealer though, gives you some extra time away.

For what it's worth, last month I re-upped my Black Card off my Diamond for either the 3rd or 4th year. No questions asked. But, as someone mentioned, the only benefits at this point are (a) separate check in; (2) free parking; (3) access to the lounge . . .

I am surprised the floor picked them up, I bet you people at the table complained since both people were at the same table, in the future they should sit at separate tables and go to eat after the dealer comes in and they will have 100 minutes to go to eat if there is a new 3 absent button rule

Well, if you are going to eat for more than 45-50 minutes or so, I believe picking up the chips and sitting down again after dinner would be a fair thing to do to the rest of the table (not to hurt the game). At least that's what I always do.

I hate the 2 days a week comp room rule, in the past you could easily email Stan to get a "3rd" night a week, I didn't stay last week, and want Saturday and Sunday for this week, but have 2 nights already booked for Christmas so I cannot get Sunday but I can get Friday and Saturday!!!! tell me the damn logic there! stupid rules you cannot, anybody know the Borgata PM, I know Vinny is not online but there is a Borgata rep online but cannot find their user name and I tried calling Borgata and both hosts are off for the day

the written rule is for the incoming dealer to give a button immediately upon taking a seat, and only then. But due to a general lack of knowledge of the rules and the mischievous nature of some dealers, it isn't unusual for me to get 3 buttons and be picked up in under 6 minutes. The dealers often violate the rules by giving you a 'late' absent button, even if you have played several hands while they deal.

This is absurd, I've never seen anything close to this happen.

the priority lines often take as long or LONGER than the red card line (especially at check-in) and the priority restaurant reservations and access to rooms is straight up bull****

this is often the case when checking into the hotel. So much so that I have started to opt for the red card line. Now this is absurd!

Checking in at the hotel desk during prime time is absurd. Long red line, but 4-7 tellers helping out, or half the line in the black card line, but only 2 tellers.

Skipping a long line at NOW with a black card is nice though. $10 sunday brunch is the best perk.

Absolutely Sunday brunch is the best, or heck any day breakfast is the best at the buffet

seriously if you can get a $10 buffet you have nothing more to ask for. It's incredible imo. I wish I could be a black card holder but I don't play a lot :/

It's by far the best buffet in AC.
Non-Sunday breakfast buffet is the best deal for about $16.
If you ask for a large juice, that alone covers half the cost.
And you get a cooked-to-order omelet station.
Plus, unlike other buffets, you are not packed in like cattle.
I'm not a big eater but I still wouldn't go anywhere else.
The only downside:
In the summer months, you have to get there early to avoid the lines.

Yes most days the line at the buffet is not, and those with red cards do not worry, a lot of the times the red line is shorter then the black line

A small OJ at Metropolitan costs $5.50. It does not list the price of a large.
But order any large OJ or tomato juice at a major hotel/casino and you will pay between $6 and $8.
