Do they allow this at Parx? I have seen a few people ask a few times for business, run it twice, but with $500 stacks it doesn't really matter here, only time it matters is if you have 2 deep stacks.

17th works for me. I can be there by 3 pm and help start the game, if others are serious about showing up. Why don't we start it at 4/8 (maybe it will attract a couple of people on the fence) and bump it up later if everyone agrees?

Can red label players get comped rooms for playing 6~8 hours of 2/5?
If so, what is the benefit of having black label card?

Comps have nothing to do with card color. The benefits of black are listed on the site. They include access to Amphora Lounge, $10 buffets, free parking and priority lines.

False black label gets you comped rooms on days when red can't. Or at least if did when I grinded like a year and a half ago

I get any day of the week with red... Only days I don't get are New Years Eve and occasionally a Saturday in the summer. I play 2/5 now but got those offers at 1/2 with high volume.

I've always heard on here that comped rooms are only based on play, not card level.

What was your experience Custer?

Yeah, how do you know that the rooms you got with black wouldn't have been obtained with red?

Oh well that may actually be case. I don't know though I lived in brigantine and my roommate was black and I was red and at the time(although just started grinding cash, usually play tourneys) I was playing more than him and he still got more comps. You are probably right we just assumed it was the card color.

I imagine the threshold for weekends is lower for black cards then it is for red though but it's probably true you can get just as good room comps as red

He may have been playing more hours/day. They base it on hours/day, not hours/month or total volume.

Let's say I booked for two nights and play ten hours the fist day and none on the second day. Would my average be 5hrs or do they count only the days you play

5. And it's how much you play the card level isn't important.

Note to any making december reservations:

http://www.njdge.org/index.htm

FYI, In September Borgata produced $2,427,337 in Revenue. Caesars Properties (Bally's WSOP and Harrah's) did $692,549.Golden Nugget did $61,388.Tropicana did $169,724. Taj Mahal did $249,708. Total Poker Revenue in September - $3,600,706.

$2,427,337 Divided By $3,600,706 = 67.41%.

The impact of the WPT, the closure of the Showboat, the announcement that the Taj could close in November all contributed to the uptick. We already knew The Borgata is Poker in Atlantic City.

Borgata buffet closes every year in December, as well the Waterclub is closed for 2 weeks in December. Do not ask me why they do this in December and not in February when it is a ghost town.
