Yes live is a monster house, but this weekend at the Borgata was pretty good, especially compared to the last 2 weekends.

Question does everybody else have new years eve comped room as well? Seems like a strange day to get a free room as I thought these were very expensive and didn't have it last year.

Yes that is what mine cost also if I book for Sunday and Monday, I just found it very strange to have New Years Eve for free (the waterclub is not free showing $699 for me but the borgata is free, must be an error).

You haven't booked it yet?! Damn, I'd offer you at least $200 right now but my gf said no way. She thinks it's "depressing" to spend NYE at a casino

Sorry, your gf is right imo.

Played last weekend, and now have 8 nights (all in pairs) left in advance. During the weeks from now - end of January when I haven't booked anything, almost all days are available to choose from (incl. Saturdays), the exceptions being Thanksgiving week and NYE. I'm now allowed to book a pair of nights at a time after being told by a rep that I had only 1 comped night a week.

I saw the games list from 2009 on the front page.

Regarding the current state of Borgata LHE. Is it worth travelling across a continent for a $40/$80-$60/$120 player? During the November tournament.

Or should I just stay put in Commerce (At least 3 $40/$80's a night; 1 $60/$120 unless they decide to run $100/$200 instead)/Bellagio (1-2 games a night)?

I just booked a reservation at borgata and asked for the Water Club. I was told it's closed during the week now and is only open on weekdays.

Yes that is what he means, open on Thursday night to Sunday night (some Monday nights) only open during holiday weeks and stuff

Fwiw I also have NYE comped and I just play poker every 4 or 5 weeks for a couple days. Not using it though.
