I think 1:30 is exactly when I left, or maybe 5 minutes before then. I was in seat 1. I wasn't happy to leave, but I don't like falling asleep and dying on the GSP either.

Really? Didn't know that. Thanks for setting me straight.

Spicy the pot was won by 6354 on q64 2 hearts vs aa with nut hearts and 2 big wraps. Honestly 1.5k pot was standard all weekend. There was a 2.5k pot won by jj69 j hi spades on t4552 with 3 spades.

Average stack got to be 1k eventually, prolly higher.

Yeah that was me man I remember you. You were there for Sat n Sun nights sick action.

Lol I won that pot..(all to give it back in short time) there was actually 2 diamonds on the flop and yea the guy left to act knew he had to be behind holding top n bottom pair.

[QUOTE=esch;21403905]Wow. For someone who was barely there, you remember a lot. I didn't even make the connection to the 1.5k pot, until you mentioned the 6354 hand. One of hands that starts off nice, small and innocuous, until I decide to 3-bet all in on the flop (after a 2-bet all-in (top/top AQ+hearts?) and get two other callers (wrap/hearts; bottom two+oESD). Bottom two fills up. I won't even say what I pushed with. Unfortunately, it wasn't my typical top set+NFD+gutshot type of hand.

I think I stepped away for the JJ hand, cause that one's drawing a complete blank.

A couple of weird moments on the table 29 game:

A turn repot for $400 on top (pot of ~$1000) when the heart flush comes in. Without the nut flush. Got insta-called by the original better with, well, the nut flush.

A pot on flop by A-high flush gets re-potted on straight flush board. I had THE blocker so I'm like WTF? A-high flush almost insta-mucks after showing. Playing stacks not all that deep. Re-potter shows Q-high flush. I've seen A-high flush get stacked by flopped straight flush, but that was after 4-bets on the flop and deeper stacks. And I've seen nut flush fold on safe board, but only after a couple minutes of agonizing - didn't want to put his entire stack in and risk the board pairing (Still, WTH?). I don't know how people re-pot in those spots w/o the nut flush or blockers to SF. I'm amazed.

The turn repot was made because if you followed the way that guy played he sucked. More than a few times he was potting with the worst hand and i had such a damn rollercoaster that day i cldnt believe him. Once he insta-called i knew i was behind yet still had outs since i had two pair to go with the K flush. How bout the hand where i read the guy for weak and repotted him all in 300+ and he called with bottom pair on flop? only to catch a second on the river...smh..Sick game..cant wait for this weekend..

The hand where the guy laid down the A- flush was just incredible. I cldnt believe it, he was still on tilt from giving me a pretty big pot bout 30 mins before that.

Yeah, I remember that hand perfectly. I was the guy standing behind you both. Took your set when you left. You had K8J5 with K8hh and J5 giving you two pair. Other dude raised pre, bet pot on flop and bet pot again when he made the nuts on the turn. ... My question to you is: If you weren't folding the turn, why didn't you just call? As it stood, his best was something like $460. Your shove was another $300 or $400 over that, right?

As for the hand where you "read the guy for weak," that was pure lol. His argument was that he turned an OESD and flush draw, but he obviously was in very bad shape, particularly because I think his flush draw was something like 9-high. Not sure what he was thinking.

That was the best PLO table I've sat at in while down there. I'm a 2/4 reg and 5/10 sometimes player on FTP. It wasn't nearly as crazy/swingy as that, but it was close.

Good luck!

I'm checking in around 7 PM Friday and be in the poker room after dinnertime then. May our paths meet.

Hopefully at that point I'll be past the bubble in the PLO event with a huge chiplead.

perhaps "its only $5" when you drive down from New York once a month or something.

Yea your right but normally i would easily lay down that hand vs anyone else. I just saw soo much damn bad play that day I let it get to me..but i had a little over 5 left.

Did the winner of that pot leave with that whole stack? He was doing a lot of dumb **** n making terrible calls with like 4 outs n such.

I would think if you are going to the casino 200 times a year, you have gambled enough to earn the black card.

If you're playing 8 hours each time at a game that gives you $2/hour in comps, it'll take 63 visits to get the Black Card, or $315 in parking. Double that if you're playing a game where it's $1/hour.

Since The Borgata only has 85 tables, does this figure include preregistration for tomorrow?

Are you serious? The event is the the event center (shocker I know). Not in the poker room.

?
That's the total #

Tomorrow is day 2....not day 1B.

They are using the event center...although it did spill over to some tables in the regular 85 table poker room....but they have broken and all the remaining runners are now together in the Event Center

I've never been there for one of those, so I didn't know that was how it was set up.

Are the cash games usually much busier/looser as people bust out of the tournaments?

If a player plays enough the Borgata will give them free parking no matter which card they have.

What is this comp?

Other SEP/OCT POK PARK CARD 1X

Is this a free $5 parking pass, or free valet ($10)? Do I get the coupon in the mail? I'd be using it this coming Monday.

thanks
