What is the freeroll river chasers event ?

Also - Can something be done about the cashier situation ? I know you want extra cashiers for the tournaments, but when it's not close to the beginning of an event and no one is on line can't there be fewer tournament cashiers ? It's a slap in the face to be waiting on line for 15-20 minutes to get to the front and see 3 cashiers sitting there doing nothing while we have 1 cashier and a line around the corner.

Can someone explain how the stud games work? 20/40 limit. What is the bring in? And are most of the players a lot older than the holdem players? Havent been at borgata for a while.

Happy to see Borgata getting some increased traffic. 18 1-2 tables at 4AM in the morning even if it is Saturday night/Sunday Morning, that's gotta be pretty healthy.

I need to go down there soon.

Thank you.
Maybe directing them to the racebook would be a good option. A sign on the bathroom door poiting to the back entrance to the racebook would help. I believe it's less than 20 feet away.

Well, it is also sensible to walk a few feet further and out the back door, there is a nice covered area outside, what would be nice would be if the cocktail waitresses could adjust when new games are opened so the new games receive drink service. Like maybe a board that blinks a red light for each new game opened where they make the drinks until a server is assigned, losing three towers before your first cup of java, - I'd rather play blitz chess in central park!

I don't think the smokers are mistaking the bathroom as an acceptable place to smoke. They know where they should be smoking.

Come on Atlantic City, just spread whatever games the customers want (i.e. the draw games) if you really ever want to be a poker destination again. Or if you ever want to have REALLY big games run ever again.

I can't imagine that spreading draw games or razz would have any real effect on the popularity of poker in Atlantic City.

The most recent survey of Las Vegas poker in the 2+2 magazine found that among 200 live games across the city, there was exactly one mixed game table running (the high limit game at Aria), and zero spreading straight Razz or draw games. When given the opportunity to play these games, it doesn't seem that anyone wants to play them. I don't see why AC would be any different, especially since they have no tradition of running these games in the first place.

Sa Cha beef is off the NOW menu. Disappointing as this was my favorite meal at the borg. Please bring it back, always a good end to a tourney bust out.

There are many younger players who play mixed games online...now that has been taken away..IMO this is the perfect time for A.C. to establish that "tradition"....also it just makes sense to offer something for everyone...A.C. already has a long established Stud player base. I think these players would be more open to playing razz and other mixed games...just seemed that way online at least...

111 players showed up for the $100 HORSE tourney 2 weeks ago at Delaware Park's Poker Classic. Pretty solid turn-out for a mixed game in little ol' Delaware. Just saying, maybe if you spread it, they will come.
