Hey erojas are you the guy who wore the reds cap? I was there all weekend, the annoying asian kid wearing a blue polo, michigan shirt, and green polo.
I
Spicy the pot was won by 6354 on q64 2 hearts vs aa with nut hearts and 2 big wraps. Honestly 1.5k pot was standard all weekend. There was a 2.5k pot won by jj69 j hi spades on t4552 with 3 spades.

Average stack got to be 1k eventually, prolly higher.

Wow. Pot pays when chases fail.

Can't wait for Friday Night, acdawg. I finally ended up in the room yesterday afternoon. After roughly three hours of $1-2 NLHE with $200 while my family played the slots, I broke even. I was down $95, until I rebounded with an all-in showdown with a player UTG. Flopped two-pair with A-7 offsuit vs. A-Q. The board was okay.

I called a $7 pre-flop at late-position, mainly because it was pot-odds as EVERYONE made it family pot. UTG says $35 post-flop and I popped a raise to $80, enough to give people a temptation to push me all-in.

The swings in this game were incredible. Over the course of several hours, I was as low as $250 and as high as $1,700. Bought in for $500. ... The biggest pot of the night was actually one that one dude didn't play. He flopped top two on a 9 5 4 rainbow board. He faced a raise, a pot raise and another pot raise before it got to him. He mucked. The turn ... another 9. River was a four, giving him the second nuts. No one had quads. Pot would have been $3k plus had he continued.

Wow. For someone who was barely there, you remember a lot. I didn't even make the connection to the 1.5k pot, until you mentioned the 6354 hand. One of hands that starts off nice, small and innocuous, until I decide to 3-bet all in on the flop (after a 2-bet all-in (top/top AQ+hearts?) and get two other callers (wrap/hearts; bottom two+oESD). Bottom two fills up. I won't even say what I pushed with. Unfortunately, it wasn't my typical top set+NFD+gutshot type of hand.

I think I stepped away for the JJ hand, cause that one's drawing a complete blank.

A couple of weird moments on the table 29 game:

A turn repot for $400 on top (pot of ~$1000) when the heart flush comes in. Without the nut flush. Got insta-called by the original better with, well, the nut flush.

A pot on flop by A-high flush gets re-potted on straight flush board. I had THE blocker so I'm like WTF? A-high flush almost insta-mucks after showing. Playing stacks not all that deep. Re-potter shows Q-high flush. I've seen A-high flush get stacked by flopped straight flush, but that was after 4-bets on the flop and deeper stacks. And I've seen nut flush fold on safe board, but only after a couple minutes of agonizing - didn't want to put his entire stack in and risk the board pairing (Still, WTH?). I don't know how people re-pot in those spots w/o the nut flush or blockers to SF. I'm amazed.

Oh yeah, and this guy hits top set/or boat with KK 4 times in a row in 20 minutes. And manages to make the minimum by pretty much check-calling the whole way. Could be the most ******ed 20 minutes I ever played. (yes, it was me)

Haha. Fish. j/k

About time you actually showed up at the PLO game instead of just talking about it and give us a chance to win back the money would so blindly won that first session.

It would have been so sick if he had called. Calling a jillion dollars to hit the case 9 v. 55. But he knew where he was at.

...and asking for game reports, too. ;-) It's been over a month since my last PLO live game. Been on FT maintaining a roll enough to buy 110 McChicken sandwiches. (Hey...dollar meal rawks!) Not bad from starting 40 at 1-2 cent.

I remember that one. I was the one who popped it to $150 pre-flop in EP, once it got around to me. I was kinda shell-shocked when I got 5 calls, and probably misplayed the hand post-flop by not c-betting my aces with no redraw.

1/2 PLO plays with a $5 bring in? Played that game at Venetian and it was a bit too big for me to handle the swings.

Put it this way, from my point of view. At least for the dealer and live players in the hand, the pot is easier to count when it's a red-chip game. And also if you hit your cards and determine you're leading, popping "pot" on a decent pot while trying to protect your hand and giving your opponents slim pot odds to call draws is not a bad arsenal to use.

The couple of times I played it at the Borgata, there was no bring-in, so whether or not your game has the bring-in depends on what they're spreading that day.

Are the min-max buyins for the $5 bring in game the same as the regular PLO?
($100-$500)

Yes, it varies. 2 of the 9 1-2 PLO games I've played so far had a $5 or $6 bring-in, mainly voted by players unanimously.

= = =

Still same min-max buy-in.

highly doubt esch was at those games XD. Ah sorry esch, I thought you had a big wrap, the guy(you know who he is) told me he had aces with nfd.

Hey dima, did you play after that huge hand? I got into the main maybe around 1:30.

This is the 1st time there actually was a bring-in for me, although in many of the other games someone made it 5 preflop about 99% of hands. I don't mind either game that much, but I would prefer the game without the bringin but 2-5 never seems to run (so the player poolshave to combine at 1-2) besides tournament series, speaking of which, is coming up.

I plan to come down for sure next weekend and possibly this weekend. I doubt 1-2 NL and PLO will be affected too much by these players, but the games will probably be easier and I might take a shot at 2-5, which will definitely have an influx of tournament plaeyers.

Gotta have a black label card, which means you earned $1000 in comp in a 1 year period. No monthly accumulation earns you free parking. Besides, it's only $5.

uh, i have something in my offers at the kiosks 'poker park card' or something like that for Sep-Oct. I think it's good for 1x a month. I average 1 5-6 hour session a week and have this park card. I think I got a free parking pass for the month a few months ago, but haven't heard about one since.

Is this the kiosk by the Card desk?

In any case, I got a free parking card for the months of September and October in a mailing I got from Borgata a few days ago. Not sure what's needed to trigger this mailing but it's just a general Poker mailing annoucing the daily tourney schedule, the poker open, and offering free/discount rooms.

Interestingly, I still have been getting the poker park card, even though I'm Black-Label card member, where parking is free all the time. But it nice to have all bases covered! :-)

You can be a red card holder and get a free parking pass from poker. It's a two month offer that is mailed to you. We send out thousands of these offers. It really doesn't take as much play as you would think. I just don't know the exact amount.

The most important thing to know about offers:

IF YOU HAVA A NO MAIL CODE ON YOUR ACCOUNT YOU DO NOT RECEIVE OFFERS.

IF YOUR MAIL ADDRESS IS INCORRECT AT THE BORGATA YOU WILL NOT KNOW ABOUT YOUR OFFERS OR YOUR FREE PARKING PASS IS BEING SENT TO THE WRONG PLACE.

IF YOUR DL. HAS EXPIRED AND YOU DID NOT UPDATE IT IN THE SYSTEM, GUESS WHAT, NOT OFFERS.

Parking for a casino should be free. Totally free. The casino is inviting people in so they can play skewed games and lose money. Charging for parking is insult to injury. If people take an "it's only" view towards it, it will never change. Then again, maybe having a barrier to go to a casino is good for most people.

Hey esch, table 29 was definitely insanity the other night. As for your KK check-calling, thank you. I was the beneficiary of your generosity

The turn re-pot of $400 dude -- thank you as well. When you busted there, I got a seat.

Hate to tell you by its a NJ State Law that Casinos charge a minimum parking fee of $5.

For all those that are getting free parking - in reality is that the casino is giving $5 to the state of NJ.

That explains why I didn't get anything for a while. You have to admit, though, it is extremely unintuitive. I had no idea my DL was even linked to the Borgata card. If I can still use my card to sign in and everything, how in the world would I know that somewhere deep in the system I'm flagged in some way?
