Not that we don't want these posting to continue, but for my Blackberry's sake, maybe you could have a permanen/small page with the latest table report?

Somewhere under http://www.theborgata.com/Main.cfm?C...ategory_3=3510 maybe?

We are already working on that.

A mobile device-friendly page????

That will be very cool, Stan.

I agree. It also seems like somewhat arbitrarily, the decision is made to sometimes have 2 main games and 1 must move and other times 1 main and 2 must moves. How is this decision made? At least with the first way there is SOME table selection.

Sometimes the floor people take it upon themselves to do the two main games.

Thats your problem, the people who want the chained-MM and start spouting off about how they should be protected because blah blah blah (which all boils down to they think they're more important than the next guy), never thank the floor people for listening. They keep badgering until management says "I don't want to hear this anymore" and just does it the way they want.

Some people just really tick me off.

I think it should just be a mobile friendly page. simple test just like the one Stan puts out.

Stan, will this page come from the actual room board, so it will also show the length of the wait/interest lists?

Actually Stan, I digress. It should be a short link, just like the BBJ (http://www.theborgata.com/getjp.cfm) but I'm sure the tech folks are already on top of that.

20 dollar rake is pretty standard for a live $100 tournament.

I actually like the game reports here as they spur discussion about the games Borgata is spreading. I worry that we'll lose a lot of that discussion if the information is moved to another page.

On the other hand, being able to access the latest report anytime, on demand, via my mobile, would be pretty nice. A great companion to AC Poker Guide's mobile tournament schedule.

And a good deal too when you compare it to the fee for the lower fee tourneys (like $40+$10, or $50+$15) that taj and others spread. Go to the middle of nowhere casinos and you'll find the rake even higher for the tourneys they spread. The rake for the $100 game is pretty much the going rate. The Borg has it right for all with their tourney structures, although I do miss the old midnight $50 tourney they used to spread.

A $50 midnight tourney would be great! I don't know how big a crowd it would get during the week though.

It was on the weekends and it didn't draw well and I think the dealers must have hated it. But it was fun.

I will not completely stop the live game reports on 2 + 2. Just less often.

I take it you play on-line tournaments where they have virtually no overhead, no dealers, no floor staff, no free drinks, lights, air /heat.

It will be an absolute mad house at the Borgata on Friday.

The craziest days at the Borg. (from my experience) are intra-week holidays....Black Friday is even worse. She goes shopping, he goes gambling.

Veterans Day was interesting and fairly crowded last week, but has nothing on the Black Fridays I've experienced.
