That would make this thread cleaner and still give people who are heading there a chance to check out what games are running. This seems better for everyone. If you don't want it accessible directly from the Borgata website for some reason, it could be a stand-alone page, and you would just give us the URL. Any merit?
Doing so would diminish Stan's contact with the forum. I like the updates and the information given in a personal touch.

To me, Stan's other posts and the whole thread get watered down by the live updates. I'd rather see useful info/discussion rather than wade through a bunch of posts that are more suited for a static webpage than an interactive forum.

3-6 or 30-60 stud? Most likely 30-60, but I wanted to make sure hell didn't freeze over.

I'm wondering if I misread the sign...

How many players were in the 10/30 5pm survivor tournament? I'm just curious because I was planning on playing in it today but couldn't make it.

Why are the pot size requirements different for different limits? That's not really fair as the higher the pot size requirement the less likely they are to reach the required pot size to take a rake, but it's pretty obvious the pot size will be that big when a bad beat hits. This leaves the games with $20 pot sizes paying the most into the BBJ and only have an equal chance of any other game of getting out of it. I could kind of understand if there was a formula of some sort, but it's 10 BB for 1/2, 4 for 2/5 and 10 again for 5/10. Seems REALLY unfair to 2/5, and that's not even assessing the limit hold 'em side of it.

AGREED! I'd love to see a SEPARATE thread called "BORGATA LIVE GAMES & Tournament UPDATES"....HOSTED by STAN, but for the main purpose of answering "How many people showed up for the 12 noon tourney?", etc...

And this current forum can be mainly for players describing interactive experiences they had while actually playing in the Borgata poker room, or asking what certain games tend to be like, etc...

ADDED BONUS: there will be TWO great threads, instead of just ONE !
(just organized better, so players can decipher.. )

If you assume that the average pot size is related to the blinds then a 1/2 table should hit $20 pots equally as often as a 5/10 table hits $100 pots. I mean if you left the 5/10 game with the $20 pot limit players would lose a dollar whenever there was a flop.

Well, pretty much every time you see a flop in 2/5 NL you will drop a dollar for the BBJ too. How many times do you see a flop with < $20 in the pot?
