Really enjoying The Diplomat on Netflix. Great cast and it’s smart and funny.

Watched the first ep. Didn't love it but I think it has potential. Very West Wing-ish. Kerri Russell is always good and is sexy as hell at 47.

Oh yeah time to watch The Americans again after I finish The Diplomat.

Beef was very average. Started well but faded and by the end I didn’t care about finishing it, though I did. There are better things to watch

I thought Beef felt like something very fresh and new and relatable I quite enjoyed it.

My wife watched Beef and I kind of watched Beef. It's an easy quick watch that kind of went downhill (wife's opinion) as it went on. The last episode was REALLY bad. For it, you can watch the first five minutes and then the last five minutes and you have all you need. She fast-forwarded through the middle of the last episode, would stop, then fast forward and nothing happened during that time.

This was my take on Night Agent previously: My wife and I are going to finish Night Agent but ya'll can steer clear. The plot has HUGE holes in it and the good guys are finding clues in an implausible fashion.

Beef was good. Ambitious. With interesting characters. And like pretty much all aspiring shows that sway away from predictable narrative and that end up failing a bit short, it has its remarkable hits and misses. That said, I would take any innovative good series over your normal good series

I liked Beef. After episode 9 I thought to myself "oh no, the last ep is gonna be terrible because it feels like it should've ended right here." So I had very low expectations for ep 10, but I kinda liked it.

Watched one ep of Night Agent. Pretty terrible. Script and acting bad, the entire thing had the look and feel of a Hallmark Channel movie. Lead actor has potential if he can get cast in something decent.

Night Agent was amusing in a comic book sort of way.

We're about halfway through Beef. It's a different take with a few yuks. Feels like we could (have) quit at any point and not think our time was totally wasted or particularly well spent.

Started watching Transatlantic but I couldn't buy Gillian Jacobs in a period piece.

Spot on. I made it through about half an episode - the whole thing felt off.

I haven't watched Transatlantic or Night Agent but I'm pretty surprised at the lukewarm if not negative sentiment here about Beef. I consider it one of - if not the - best shows I've seen in a long time. The criticism of the last episode is fair and my sister said the same thing; it could have ended with the penultimate episode quite logically. I enjoyed the last episode a lot, though, and I think it also added a lot to the story and themes.

I've started watching Tulsa King. I thought the first episode was really excellent. Although I'm still liking it a lot in the following episodes, I will say that I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't seem like it'll be as deep as it could be. The cast of characters is great and all, but it seems like it'll be almost sit-comy where they'll deal with different events and mishaps from episode to episode rather than something deeper and richer where anything could happen.

Interesting. I thought the Diplomat was very good and, while I've only seen the first episode, Mrs. Davis is fun.

No chance I'm watching Ghosted. The action/rom-com might be my least favourite genre (either that or the bio-pic). There's been a handful that I've like though such as Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Romancing the Stone.

The first three episodes of Love and Death are out on HBO Max, true story about a chruch going woman that snapped and murdered her friend with an Axe. Elizabeth Olsen and Jesse Plemons. There was a series a year ago on Hulu about it called Candy. Should be good.

Sweet Tooth is back on Netflix.

Spy thriller "Citadel" is tonight on Prime.
