As much as I want to believe that the equation is that simple, one would need to look hard at the data before becoming to such an easy solution... And believe me, in Argentina, you are happy to have cops patrolling the streets, as corrupted as they may be!!!

The cops aren't the problem The laws they are asked to enforce are. Sunset 1/3 of State and Federal mid-low level laws, restrict traffic stops, end the failed War on Drugs (actually a war on our citizens), and there will be fewer bad actions by law enforcement.

It's not the fault of cops that the US leads the world in percentage of citizens in prison.

Shane Gillis got cancelled from SNL and I sure am glad because he started a sketch comedy series on YouTube called GILLY AND KEEVES: that’s better than anything SNL has done in years

Season 1 is free on YouTube, season 2 is 10 bucks at his website but worth it

the idea that cops stop crime or protect us in some way is just false...at least in this country. Cops show up after the crime has happened to take a report. That's about it.

Dom, you are my go-to-guy in the movie thread, as I have 100% loved everyone of your suggestions, but such a binary strong statement seems weird as not only a derail to this thread - which, granted, I am also contributing to -, but as such a provocative stance... I'm no expert but I would sure think so. You'd just need a fast enough connection for streaming, I'd guess 10-20 mbps for 1080p quality files

Finished the Danish crime drama, The Chestnut Man. 6 episodes.

Very, very good. Also one of the darkest shows I can remember we seeing. Definitely recommend.
