It’s the hardest fall of any non Showtime show I’ve seen.

I was really interested in the show but heard that same thing and glad I decided against it.

Agree with The Old Man reviews. First couple of episodes were terrific but it got really dumb as soon as the woman was introduced, and then really boring.

I liked the whole thing. Yeah, you need to suspend (a lot) of belief but I still liked it. I guess I liked the actors more than I cared about the story.

The whole storyline with the woman was definitely unnecessary though.

Despite the fall off, I’ll still probably watch S2.

Agreed. There's still a lot of unknowns that make me curious where it's going. Part of me hopes they bring the dogs back. They were his best weapon.

3 episodes into The Old Man and I'm absolutely hooked. I find it interesting some of you didn't like it...I assume because of its pace. It is very deliberate. But I'm really digging that. As I'm about to be 60 and an old man myself lol, I also like the "older relationship" stuff and family responsibilities that the show doesn't shy away from.

Love how its shot and written - some of the direction and staging have been quite unique - like the big fight in the first episode or the scene in the 3rd where Zoe gets in her car, sees the dogs going nuts in the other car, and her car gets dinged by what we later find out to be a stray bullet. Great camera movement and reveal.

The only thing I'm not thrilled with is the young CIA guy...he seems way too antagonistic. I'm neutral on the flashback scenes...they're perfectly fine, but not as good as the "today" scenes.

We didn’t like it because it started out awesome and gets progressively worse from right around where you are now. I think we all loved the early episodes.

I don't want to spoil anything for you but curious do you know who the young CIA guy is?

you mean the actor or in the show...don't have any idea what you mean, if there's a twist coming for that character like with the FBI woman played by Maybe.

I just like shows that are doing something a little bit different, either story-wise or aesthetically...and while The Old Man definitely is not new in story, I'm enjoying how they're doing it.

Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie on Apple is great, it's him taking you through his life story.

Amsterdam had so much promise - it worked with the jamie subplot very well and the jazz one to a lesser extent but the rest was just disastrous

Me too - love Severance - I remember chatting about our very similar tastes. I'm afraid writer's strike will delay the next episode though.

Severance is amazing. My only concerns are they try to drag it out too long and/or they have no idea how to resolve the story. Either way, it feels like the kind of show where there is a high chance they drop the ball.

Kind of surpised so much agreement on Ted Lasso here. Thought there would be a couple Lasso lovers advocating to give it more time

Like the tagline says : Follows the life of beloved actor and advocate Michael J. Fox, exploring his personal and professional triumphs and travails, and what happens when an incurable optimist confronts an incurable disease.

He is pretty upbeat about it all. If he can be, then so can you. lol

I don't think I've seen any discussion about the 2nd season of Yellowjackets. Mannn I really liked the 1st season but the first episode of the 2nd season made me lose all interest. I didn't really understand what was going on and I didn't really care to.

Been a little in the “General Shows…” thread but only as much as acknowledging it’s existence lol

It’s been an interesting season and I’d say worth getting back in. Definitely not as good as S1 but some wicked moments.

A Small Light on Hulu is really good. It’s the story of Otto Frank and the Frank family as they go into hiding in Amsterdam and the people who helped them. Crazy to think that happened only 80 years ago.
