I haven't looked into the Plex thing at all but it seems very shady. Also, if you like a provider or something on one of the providers why not support it?

The Boston Marathon Bombing doc was pretty good. You get a sense of just how the police handling of the situation was such a **** show (it's funny that they were hailed as heroes after they caught the last dude even though he was hiding right under their noses and was found by a bystander).

Plex is like pirating lite. You’re paying for access to things that someone else has pirated.

Just having Plex is in the same legal zone as VPN stuff. If/when it gets shut down, all you’re out is your monthly Plex/VPN fee. As long as you’re cool with that, make hay while the sun shines IMO.

If I wasn’t already sharing sub services with my family, I’d probably be using Plex.

Just got AppleTV thanks to that free 2 month MLB thing. Started watching Blackbird and it's quite good so far.

Just watched the first episode of Tulsa King. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Well written, funny, and Sly makes a great gangster. Duh.

Both of those are good. Blackbird is better but Tulsa King was fun and better than I expected

Just finished Pen15 on Hulu. Highly recommend. Incredibly funny show about two 7th grade girls. Funniest middle school based show out there.

I had never heard of this show when my wife and I stumbled upon it last year. Really one of the most uniquely funny shows in recent memory.

I hate myself wasting time watching trash like Love is Blind, but damn it got addicting. Was so curious how it'd end up.

Thought the shootout that occurred in the suburban neighborhood was handled the worst and they didn't even apprehend them in that shootout. Later they all shoot up the boat for no apparent reason. Very lucky that nobody innocent died in that **** show.

I thought the same thing. In the first shootout, there had to be 100+ cops slinging lead at the dudes and one of them got away. If that's not embarrassing enough, they find the getaway car and use 1000 cops to fan out starting from the car and working out but don't find him. It takes a homeowner to find him in a boat ONE BLOCK FROM WHERE THEY FOUND THE CAR. And yes, shooting up the boat makes no sense and I thought it was funny that hundreds of cops converged on the area where he was located. You know that they were all thinking, "I'm not missing out on this!".

So damn funny watching them pat themselves on the back in regard to how well they handled the situation.

I was actually disappointed by the lack of realism and believability towards the end.

Imagine my surprise when I read the Wikipedia and found out that the real life events matched the series nearly exactly!! Crazy.

Dammit I can't figure out the spoiler tag.

Okay, I take back everything I said bad about Ted Lasso at the beginning of this season, because this latest episode was just perfectly magical. Well done. Now I want to move to Amsterdam and live on a house boat, go to jazz clubs, cycle about looking at windmills, and visit Van Gogh museums.

Perfectly legal, but currently being scrutinized by the powers that be.

Dom,

I’m not sure, but I would think so.

5 episodes into Tulsa King and I'm enjoying it more than just about anything right now. Stallone is so freakin' good. Funny, scary, charming, sad...it's all there. All the other characters are pretty great, too.

7 episodes into Tulsa King now lol... and, it got dark. Real dark.

I know it's not on the same level, but the tone of this is reminding me of Justified.
Humor and then deadly serious.

Stallone really is surprisingly good. I haven't seen Tulsa King but I recently went through all 3 Creed movies and Stallone's role in them is just great. Growing up, people I knew mostly made fun of him, probably mostly for the voice, but I've recently realized that he is very good.

Condor and Godfather of Harlem are good.

1 season of "From" is out and new season starting soon. I haven't finished it yet but some say they liked it.

edit: Season 2 starts Sunday.
