Does he still do the NLP stuff? That's in theory not common sense and would be worth something if it was real (but it isn't).

Yea I'd put the whole thing into the New Age bucket and there are many different seminars and such that make people feel temporarily good.

It is not a bad show, its an /average show. I think people are overrating the hell out of it because its a throwback to the old and we don't get many shows like this. The characters so far arent interesting, the plot isn't that eye catching, the atmosphere and mood is inconsistent. If its a thriller/horror then have us feel that for a MAJORITY of the episode. That's my prob with stephen king movies/adaptations, they can never really hold a consistent tone(green mile and a few others are a rare exception)
I dont want to discuss further since im only 3 eps in but got damn some of you overrated the **** out of it. I even had low expectations coming in
Yea. I only watched one and really don't want to watch more (but might, just to be sure and to be able to rek people better). We're definitely at peak TV in a bad way; anything halfway decent that hits the right beats (White Rabbit montages, casting older beloved actors, following the correct story formula, premiering all at once on a streaming service) gets absolutely gobbled up, immediately receives ~93% on RottenTomatoes, and is proclaimed "one of the best shows ever" within 36 hours of release.
It's not Stephen King btw, don't know if you thought it was, but a bunch of people seem to be fooled.

Stop saying Twin Peaks, it isn't like Twin Peaks in any meaningful way. People should watch Twin Peaks instead (being aware that episodes 19-27ish are of questionable quality).
The Goonies is not a good movie FYI. I saw it in a movie theater in 35mm last August, and it was clear from audience reaction that people were like "oh, you know what, this really isn't that great when you have to sit and watch the whole thing" - Pee Wee's Big Adventure, on the other hand, which played afterwards, is the opposite. The Goonies love is another frustrating thing about this whole debacle. One of the dumbest/worst nostalgia points for people in the target generation.
