Scott,

Some thoughs & suggestions for the December WPT:

1.Rather than have 3 turbo Events, have a deep stack turbo, all in or fold & regular turbo.Every Event should be unique.

2.Schedule 2 Sattys at 11 & 7 the day before event #1 for that Event and then do the same the next week for the Main. This would increase the prize pools for your 2 biggest Events.1 in 5 Sattys.

3.Increase the starting stack on Event #1 to 20k.

4.Make the Seniors Event a 1A,1B with a day 2. 11 & 7 day 1,Day 2 at 7p.m.

5. Make Day 2 of the Main all 60 minute levels.

Your thoughts?

Seriously though, Derby's 1/3 game plays close to a 2/5 a lot. Might want to give that a try if this isn't working for you. Me, 150BB 1/2 seems like a good game.
Could be, and I need a bigger sample size before drawing broad conclusions. But less $$ on the table will cut into win rates. If everyone bought in for $300 it would be great.

Just wanted to offer a different perspective, not everyone thinks the changes are an improvement.

I can't recall if they changed this policy or not. Can you use regular comp dollars (not WPT comps) to buy into the regular daily tournaments? i know you couldn't at one time, but thought someone said you can now. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks.

Correct on all accounts. Previously no, but the policy was changed so you now CAN use the comps for regular tournaments.

Thanks, Scott. Glad to hear that. There's only so much swag you can buy at the gift shop before you've got it all!

Would it be possible to uncap the straddle in the PLO games if the entire table agrees (which would be the vast majority of the time)?

Bad beat hit tonight straight flush vs straight flush 2/4 limit holdem. I was 2 tables away playing 1/2 could hardly tell they won it was so quiet , dont think they realized it at first. It was my first time playing since the buy in change really like it good job Scott and the Hard rock management.

I haven't played here in a very long time. I know they've abolished the 1/3 and increased the 1/2 max to 300. Have they made any changes to the 200-1k 2/5? Update the OP please.

If 1/2 PLO runs, is it time rake?

Not unless they changed it but recently there's been more 5/10 than 1/2. 2/5 seems to be what everyone settled on as the staple game, though, and it's $6/30min.

Where (other than inside the poker room) can I find the structure sheet for the Saturday 10K guaranteed tournament? I can't seem to find it anywhere online.

Their tournament structure is on the second page of the PDF that downloads when you click the Print Poker Calendar button on this page:

Thank you, PokerXanadu. Do you play this tournament on a regular basis? Do you know how many runners they usually get?

I'd also like to know about the October tournament schedule. No flyers out yet, and I'm not going to be there this weekend.

I'd get there earlier. It starts by noon some days, and it generally takes a few hours before there are enough to start a must-move table.
