Did you let that fish in seat 2 in your 2/5nl game this afternoon hold on to that 3k stack he had?

If your quad 10's didn't hold up, you're RICH. What's the BBJ at now anyway?

Which is amazing they didn't hold up.... Was there only 5 minutes to go in the hour or something? Quad 10s are somewhat vulnerable.

All the Omaha players and the casino probably love this promo but this is totally unfair use of "our"(hold em players) promo money.
I am talking about the $1200 high hand promo that includes omaha, when omaha normally contributes less than 20% of the amount that hold em games contribute to the promo fund. (2 omaha games and 25+ hold em games normally).

So how is it fair to include omaha in this when a large portion of them are hitting at omaha even tho there is only 4 or 5 omaha tables compared to 30+ hold em tables.

Out of the $172,800 used for this promo, what % was contributed from the omaha tables before hand? catch my drift.

They're going to have to eliminate Omaha from that promo entirely, remember Hollywood HR has limit and NL for their HH promos and they finally changed it to where only 1 card has to play for NL vs both for limit Hold'em (Omaha doesn't get to play for those HH promos).

When I saw Tampa HR allow Omaha to qualify for HH with the same qualifications, I laughed. Good time to learn Omaheehaw huh?

Do you have to identify yourself to win the high hand promo or do they just hand you some chips for your stack?

Which is why you gotta take advantage of your situations like playing Omaha. I don't normally, but when I saw they allowed Omaha I jumped on the chance.

The silks did this the first time they did 599 each 30 min, Omaha was included. That ended right then and there... Should happen if THR does this again.

How busy will this room be this week? I'm thinking of making the trip for a scene change but don't want to play if its just a normal midweek crowd. Holiday crowds going to make it any busier?

I wish more rooms had webpages of their current games.

I was there this afternoon and it was very busy. Combination of $1200 high hand promo/holiday week and they were a little short on dealers so most lists had 20 or so on them. But it moved pretty quick.
Should be busy for the rest of the week.

Today was insane. 30 and 40 names on the wait list and no dealers. Half of the brushes can't speak good English, so when they did open a table it was a nightmare. If it wasn't for Jimmy going up there I would probably still be waiting. They need to make him full time microphone guy or something.

Long time since I posted...

I was there today. Big dude in a black shirt, camo shorts, blue Lightning cap. If anyone was at table 35 from Noon - 9...I was with you. Let me know if you were there.

I misplayed a hand against an obvious cash register... er... player.. he then started talking smack and saying "nice try boy" and "gimme all your chips...yeah all of em now!" as I was paying him off. Left a sour taste, had to end up leaving for the night as I just wasn't in the right mind.

First night back playing live in some time, so a bit of polishing up to do.

Nonetheless, very happy with how the room looks, and the games were good today. Crowded like the other said, and I plan on going back later this week.

they were short yesterday because they had their annual 5 year employee party at 2pm. If you've been an employee for over 5 years, you get to drink/eat for free (I'm assuming) and they had "rocker" awards for the staff. Don't ask me what those are though.... games were awesome yesterday but yes, very very busy.

Awesome, i suspected as much that at least 1 other 2p2er was there!

Yeah, he pissed me off. I knew I wasn't in the right place to continue so I called it a night. I misread his acting job, got a bit ahead of myself, but those are the breaks.

I'll look for you next time i'm up there...should be later this week!
