Ive heard from many regs that the rock will be packed, since the last time they ran this promo has been said to be "The Best One They've ever Ran" so hopefully the action will be steady, vs the dumb flock of players @ noon like this promo drew. Can anyone comment on the action last time they ran the "Shell card" promo

Hey all. Trying to plan a visit for the first couple of weeks in january to play for a few days. Wondering if a) the hardrock has a poker rate for hotel rooms or b) if any nearby hotels are decent and walkable to the casino/poker room itself. also, is there any free transportation to and from airport or the beach?

As it gets closer to the end of the eligible promo hours at low stakes such as 1/2 NL it becomes more nitty than usual. Befriend a few players and if they say they're close to their hours and have had losing sessions they're generally going to be tighter than usual cuz they want to minimize the damage...sounds like something I'd do...since I lose a lot

But in all seriousness it becomes tighter cuz people are just grinding for hours. I for one am guilty of this a bit too. At 2/5 NL and higher nobody should give as much of a poop since $150 is peanuts compared to a couple full buy ins...

By really expensive he means over 300 a night most nights! I stayed in one by the Fairgrounds. It is not within walking distance and I did not care for the area. Now I normally stay in Brandon where there are reasonably priced rooms in okay areas. It is the best solution to the problem. And, lastly, there is not a poker rate at all.

No, only double comps $/hour till the end of the month and gas cards next month.

Fresh harvest is having a breakfast buffet Mon-Sat 7am-10am for $10 starting Jan. 2nd. Sounds pretty good but I never get up there that early.

Naturally I just hit a straight flush now that the $1200 promo is over.
With the board 5c 9c jh 6c 6d the river went guy bet, lady raised, I rr, guy folded, lady shoved.

I prayed for Quad 6's but she only had Ac 3c
