An update on Sean's case.

January 15th was the last time any of his friends were in contact with him. He was last spotted on Borgata surveillance video on January 30th about 3am playing cards.

That's a shame, hopefully it ends well. He looks familiar, so I'm pretty sure I've played with him there before. I've logged almost 200 hours this year though, so it's hard to say when. I'll keep an eye out.

It's been a while for me at Borgata, used to be daily reg.

Was wondering in todays climate, if I were to come down to play cash games for 3 days, is it possible to start getting Friday and Saturday comp rooms on my black card again from playing for 3 days? If so any idea what stakes of LHE or NLHE and number of hours I would need?

I can only really speak to 1/2 and if you average 10 hours a day for probably 7-10 sessions you'll start getting them. At least I did, albeit in the winter with a history of a lot of hours but never a black card.

i think he'll start getting them after 1 session. as soon as you register a daily average that isn't more than 6 months old you see the offers come in.

at least that's what i see between myself and others i know.

i didn't play for 6 months... lost all offers. played 12 hours one day about 3 months ago and the next week i had comps for 7 days a week. i went back and played a 3 hour session dropping my daily average down to 6 and the next week my offers were sun-thur.

my buddy picked up a new card about 6 months ago, played about 30 hours over 3 days. the next week he had offers for 7 days a week.

That is good to know but makes sense, Borgata only care about your average session, doesn't really matter if you come every week, they want length, only advantages is guys who come every week like me get some dates that other people get blacked out of

you cannot deposit at the borgata for borgatapoker.com. you can however get a debit card which allows you to deposit at the main casino cage.

you can also pick up cash withdrawals at the casino cage, but cannot at the poker room cage.

It's 5/10 or F/T, but not 5/T or F/10.

Regrettably, I'll be losing my Black Label status at the end of the month. Will this affect my room offers in the future? I've been getting and taking advantage of midweek comp rooms, the occasional free Friday nights, and nice discounts on weekend nights. If I keep up my current level of play, will I still keep getting those room rates even if I don't hold a Black card?

These questions have been answered several times before, but I know it can be difficult to find in this enormous thread.

Your card status doesn't affect what comps/rooms you are offered. Your comps are determined by your play.

As far as your black card, you should speak with the poker room host, Mabel. She might be able to help you out.

Why is this thread's page progression messed up when I view it on my Iphone? It takes me to the first post from years ago when I click on the last page. Does anyone else have this problem?
