Saw him playing $2/5 today at Parx. Guess he's got a new home since he's banned from Borg.

I imagine he'll probably try and come back during the next big tournament series. Who knows, thanks for the update.

For those who are unaware of what recently came to light (and is fact not rumor), let's just say that for a long time things other than skill, experience or tenure came into play when making the dealer schedules. Changes have been made at the top. This clearly improves things for deserving dealers and we, as players, should benefit as they get better scheduling.
Lots of us know what happened, and it is better to keep it quiet. But if you find out what happened, it makes perfect sense why there are so many bad floor and dealers and I hope those that were bad and were getting extra hours get no hours cause they regularly stink.

I know that guy and played with him before. Big time cry baby. Glad he is banned. BTW if the Casino was willing to ban him until he pays they must believe the situation or they would not have banned him.

remember there are witnesses: the dealer and possibly the 'third man,' the one who refused to take part in the doomed hand and received an absent button instead...

I am not in favor of skinning a sheep when frequent shearing will do, beyond that, one day a lawyer for the DGE is going to show up to the poker room with some difficult questions:

Mr. lawyer for the DGE: "What's all this talk of rabbit hunting, serving drunks alcohol and then skinning them, flips, and surveillance videos of child brides in the poker room?"
Borgata Poker Rep: "Yes, they do look like child brides, but we IDed them and their foreign passports do indicate they are 21, see the stamp on their hand on the surveillance tape? May I offer you a $10 voucher for a pastrami sandwich at 'Bread and Butter'?"
Mr. Lawyer for the DGE: "and the flips, rabbit hunting, and serving customers who are already drunk?"
Borgata Poker Rep: "This is the first I hear of flips, rabbit hunting, and serving drunks, and I assure you such acts do not happen in this establishment. You have a long drive back to Trenton and must be so hungry. How about a $300 comp to the 'Old Homestead' for you and your friends in the three piece suits?"

Yeah. Half of it has been evacuated and blocked off for a few days.

Borgata is holding 4th of July fireworks tomorrow night at 9pm. The viewing area will be the surface parking lot, so that's why they're blocking it off.

Has anybody else been having problem checking in at the Waterclub on Saturday? The last 3 weeks I have checked in around 1 PM and the room has not been ready, the last 7 months that has only happened once.

Well. it's now peak summer season, pool is open, and people try to stay as late as possible before checking out. Then they still have to turn over rooms.

And yeah, 4pm is check in time as Jigsaw states, but we are special

I have off friday from work and was thinking of going down to play the 12pm 25k and 2/5 after should i bust early. Anyone know how many runners it typically gets? Also any expectations on size significantly decreasing because of wsop? I was thinking it would be a prime time to play though because i imagine the tougher regs are going to be in vegas and w/ it being a holiday weekend it could attract some extra dead money.

I was there a few days ago, 5 names on the 5-10 omaha, 5 names on the pink chip game, and five names on the 10-20 omaha, curiously, no overlap of names and no games going! With a little more organizing and promoting on the part of the players and staff, I think a game is possible!!

Yes I asked the waterclub person if this is going to be like this every week now and she said yes. My point is I have been coming since December and only once had to wait to check it. The thing that was stupid, is that I could not change my room to a regular Borgata room since I heard those rooms are ready, so stupid I am going to call about this, already emailed them.

I am not saying this incident didnt occur, but I believe his name was bleeped out for privacy reasons/legal reasons and for what is against the rules on 2+2. I mean, once you go ahead and describe the guy like that...everyone who plays at the Borg knows exactly who you're talking about. And then you(not you Shag) put up a link with his pic, too?! I dunno, but it doesn't seem right to use the forum as your personal platform...and I am the LAST person who you would ever call a "goody-two-shoes" but I can't help feeling that this is wrong.
Just to respond to this. Mods did not **** the name, I did. It is not fair for an unconfirmed incident to torpedo this guy. He is active on 2+2, if you dig into this thread you can find his info pretty easily.

I could be wrong as I do not use the pool but I thought they had just an indoor pool?

You can also find his info by Googling "Burger King Crown Borgata."

The water club has outdoor pools. It is part of the Borgata complex.
