The front desk people can do that for you when you check in.

The Borgata is the best run casino in AC with a huge database of players that plunk thousands into the one arm bandits every day like it was nothing. Over time, the Borgata has been super generous to me so I can't complain, and I do admit to some recidivist activity (spending too much time on the beach and not enough time tied to my poker seat in the summer) but I recently gave tremendous action at both the Borgata and a boardwalk casino, the boardwalk casino set me up for the summer, and I don't see a comped room on the horizon in August at Borgata. The Borgata has been so successful and is so well run that the number of deep pockets there is huge, - I hope room offers improve in September if I put in enough hours...

Very strange but I can't complain. I will say it has caused me to make fewer trips.

I feel like the action at the Borg has been bigger than just about anywhere else lately.

The same happened to me since the rollover in June/2 month hiatus. Just put in some hours and you'll get them again. I put in about 15-20 hours in at 1-2 over 2 trips and I've been getting offers again.

How are the pineapple games? Are they running daily, or only peak times on weekends?

On the Borgata room reservation calendar, what does "Change Room Choice" mean?

It means whatever type of room you have chosen in the top left is not available for that night, but at least one of the other choices is available. Try changing an option, there are 8 possible combos of the 3 variables (smoking or not, 1 bed or 2, Borgata tower or Water Club).

gamble are you using Internet Explorer? I haven't registered online for a Borgata event for a while but I remember having lots of trouble unless you were using IE.

I got to the registration page on Safari with no problem.

Did you click/check the box that says that you agree to the terms and conditions as shown below?

If not, that is your problem.

Tip: you can switch the room choice at the front desk if you end up stuck with smoking only options on the website.
I've done this many times and only once was I stuck with my lesser preferred 2 queen beds.

See you boys in two weeks!

I played at Borgata for the first time this past Monday-Tuesday. Monday was packed due to whatever was happening at the nightclub. Really really enjoyed it. Well run room. Dealers ranged from good to excellent, floor was fine and the room itself is beautiful.

I was confused about the policy for Sit n Go's. The desk told me they don't run them until after the days tournaments that have guarantees are finished, but the website says they run 24/7. We never drummed up any interest for one anyway but still. That is the only downside. Otherwise a great experience.

Kudos to everyone on the staff there

Leaving this in the main forum since it's good to see general responses, but I'd like some Borgata players and/or Stan/TAB to chime in here:

Well, 15K % $100 = about 150 players they get for that tourney, +/- 10% is about right variance on that. Good luck !

How does the HORSE tournament work? I'm thinking about playing this at the BPO if I bust out of Day 1B of the Deep Stack. The structure sheet shows blinds/antes/limits for each game in each level, but nothing about how the games rotate. Is it a certain number of hands? If so, how many?

The games change with each level.

Unless they changed something, they do 8 hands of each game. You'll usually get 2 full games in a 40min level depending on the speed of the players and the dealer.
