A chocolate shake? You're kidding me.

I once brought a venti caramel frap from Starbucks to a 1-2 NLHE Monday morning game and I didn't get scolded!

Sounds good, but I really wish you would expand it to any mixed game (or at least any that include Pineapple, if you really want to promote that).

I've been trying to get the pink chip mixed game going for quite awhile with very limited success, and it would be nice to have a push. I'll be out of town for awhile but when I come back at the end of the July I'm going to try again (and hoping "iseedeadmoney" will be back and playing again, he should draw the players in).

The new games sound fun. What is the difference between crazy vs. regular Pineapple?
Will this likely be a limit or no limit game.

Thanks!

Crazy = discard post-flop.
Regular = discard pre-flop.
When is the discard required? Is it as soon as the cards (hole cards for regular, flop for crazy) are dealt? Or after the betting, but before the next street (flop or turn) is dealt? I've seen it played both ways. I've only ever played Crazy P., and usually it's been that you just can't have 3 cards in your hand when the turn is dealt, or your hand is dead. But in a few cases you had to discard right away on the flop. It can make a big difference strategy-wise.

When I have played either version (in home games), you don't have to discard until after the betting is finished for that round.

It does seem to me that the discard rules will be tough to control and lead to confusion in a casino environment.

The only time I ever saw any version of Pineapple spread in a casino was at the Bicycle Club in LA, and that was Crazy Pineapple high-low.
Will the high-low version be allowed at Borgata?

The Pineapple games are great additions. Hopefully, they can at least go on weekends.

I think 4/8 crazy pineapple w/ $1 chips would be fun.
5/10 or 6/12 P.O.E. would be nice too.

Hi, on a regular basis I drive my RV (pickup w/truck camper on the back) and play several days at Foxwoods and Mohegan(CT)....and crash over night in the camper. Does Borgata have places for RV's to park ? Is it fairly safe ? Never been down there before.....heard some diff things about the safety issue....how about the rest of the AC Poker Rooms/Casinos ?? Safe ??

Are there going to be pineapple tables, or is the game just going to be included in mixed games?

And will these games be limit, no limit, both?

Its great to have these games coming to Borgata. The promotion does seem a bit too aggressive though. 50 hours for a game that will break as soon as it gets short handed and therefore will only run for a limited time each week is a demanding number of hours for anyone that does not practically live in the Borgata all the time.

I will be playing the new Pineapple games in the coming month, but not to the extent of going after the unrealistic promotion. Its great that you are adding more new games. Keep them coming (I want Razz).

Thank you.

Yeah, 95% of the time I've played it that way, just a few occasions where someone was used to the other way and it was either at their home or it was dealer's choice and they were dealing. I guess the strategic difference is the same to everyone, but I think it makes it more interesting to be able to decide on your discard with more information (i.e. a round of betting). For example, flopping top-top and a flush draw, and deciding which one to play based on the action. If you have to discard immediately on the flop, you'd almost always keep the made hand.

Is it pretty standard to be able to get a poker room rate on Sun-Thurz? I'm going down tonight and just want a place to crash. Though I really don't want to pay for any place - I guess the classy borg. would be the exception. I'll prob. play 2-5 or 5-10NL. If I play 10 hours could I get Friday night at a rate? Also, is cash deposit allowed or just credit card?

Razz has been approved for a while now. I think some of the nosebleed-level mixed games @ Borgata include it in the spread.

You mean the rooms are booked, not the tournament right?

Question from someone who's never played at Borgata before;

how do you setup a SnG? I assume you would start a list at the podium, but not sure if that's correct... will they announce it on the loudspeaker for people to come?

For any regs, how frequently do SnG's go and what stakes?

Thanks!
