Yes. $150 hold on CC.

i thought there'd be more games at borgata now..

seems like the big turnout was only when the 1st tourney was going....

if it's 12 and your 7 it's $119.
If it's 7 and your level 7 it's comped...

At least that's my understanding from watching the magic second hand.

$59 as far as I know is the bottom dollar rate.

Has anyone that only plays poker have any experience using their black label card to get comped or reduced rooms in Vegas?

Just looking to see if I can get any comped rooms from my poker play. Don't want to spend $100+ a night at wynn or "settle" for staying at the flamingo.

Just so darn spoiled with how well the Borgata treats us!!!!
I was wondering the same thing. I heard that MGM is owned by the same company as Borgata. I'm happy with how Borgata has taken care of me room wise. (For all those wondering, I don't play high limit, but I play marathon sessions, like 30-40 hours in a weekend...) It doesn't seem like Borg and MGM are connected in the same way that Caesar's properties are, though, so I'm not sure if any of my history will transfer.

Still no comps available. Came back down this past weekend and played a survivor and some cash, still no effect on comp rooms, looked all the way through til April. Even played some craps and blackjack ($25 tables) with a friend who was down for the day. Was planning on coming down this weekend to play satties and hopefully the main, but it can't be profitable if I'm paying room rates for a week. Not sure what it takes at the B any more.
There could be several reasons why the offers didn't how up.

1. (Most common) A no mail code on the account
2. Expired DL information in the Borgata card system

PM me your card number and I will check it.

Stan

MGM owns half of the corporation that owns Borgata, but they're looking for a buyer for it. NJ gave them a choice between their NJ gaming license and their venture in Macau, and they chose Macau.

another quick question,

does "comped rooms" take your comp dollars as room charge or is it completely free?

I played some 1/2 last week then some $50 blackjack (shame on me) and now I see comped rooms everywhere and was just curious, thank you.

Not surprising if you keep playing $50 BJ.

Nothing is free bro. If you lose $ 500 in playing BJ and you get a comp room. Is it still worth it?

Yea that is why Caesar is still such a powerful company even though their properties are pretty much junk. I wish the companies that owned the Borgata would do a Caesars like deal and have their own "total rewards" that are good through the USA.

Side note: stayed at Bally's because I couldn't get a room at Borgata this past Sunday and holy crap what a DUMP. I guess they don't clean that place up like EVER because after being in an elevator at the Claridge Tower I felt like I needed an immediate shower.

Don't do this to me again Borgata.

Why stay at the other B? You couldn't get the poker rate the Borgata? Or at least get the poker rate at Harrahs and drive or take the jitney to Borgata and play.

Ballys and Showboat were my only options. Can't afford the poker rate I'm under rolled already!
