Does anyone have the link to the Satelitte tournaments for the Borgata Open. I seem to have lost the link.

Thanks Bob,

Maybe Stan or someone else can answer this question. I just booked a stay from Fri Sept 14 thru the 17th. I plan on playing in all 3 ---$350 + $50 Championship qualifiers. on that Fri, Sat and Sun if needed

The question is for the championship qualifiers what is the tournament structure. Starting Chips, Blind Levels, Etc? Also are these register only in person since I do not see them listed for online registration?

Thanks Stan or anyone else.

Borgata is the only place you'll get higher stakes to go off on a regular basis and don't have to worry too much about being robbed after you hit the cage.

Revel only seems to get a couple of 1/2 games off any given day, I've never checked the live report and seen anything else but 1/2.

In about a week, when 2 interested regulars come back from out of town, I am going to try hard to get a pink chip (7.50-15) mixed game going semi-regularly. We wouldn't want to play all draw games (I love stud, esp. high-low), but those games could be included.

I'm sorry if this has been covered but there's 20,000 posts in here so I'm not optimistic about going back and finding it...I've got something like 43 comp dollars at the Borgata (I turned 21 2 months ago and live 90 minutes away so I haven't been able to get to AC too often, but when I do I've played/stayed at Borgata). I've been lucky enough to have a friend who already has a comped room allow me to stay with them free of charge every time I've gone so far.

My question: If I were to call ahead and let the hotel know that I play a lot of poker but would prefer to stay at their hotel rather than drive back and forth in one day, do you think they'd consider comping me a room (on a Monday-Thursday of course) without making me spend my comp dollars? More specifically: Have any of you gotten free rooms without using comp dollars? I'd like to save them as long as possible and obviously 43 won't even get me a cheap weeknight room anyway. I've heard other people tell me that getting a weekday room shouldn't be hard but then they weren't able to clarify when I asked for other details.

keep in mind that your comp $ expire after 180 days, so if you don't go often you might want to spend them next time-check your account on the website it will tell you when they expire

Thanks guys. For whatever reason the website always tells me they can't activate my account and I need to call Borgata. Shouldn't be a hard fix but just annoying :/

I'm definitely interested in playing on Saturdays/Sundays, and could start a list by 2PM. I like most (if not all) of the games.

I wouldn't mind adding pineapple to the mix also. Maybe POE or PORSE ?

The strangest thing happen the other day.

I don't go to the Borgata that often, but I finally logged into my account after about 3 months and saw I had comps for parts of August, all of September, and all of October. Of course this was for Sunday - Thursday.

I logged in a couple days ago and all the comps and gone and replaced by $59 per day. The reduced August rates have also doubled.

I recently came up the past couple days and stayed at Harrahs and it was a very cheap option, at around $40 a night even with limited play there. The best rates at Borgata at this point were well over $100.

I ended up losing a small amount of money (under $100) with an up and down session that I could definitely improve on over at Borgata. I put in about 10 hours of play at 1-2 NL. The main purpose was I thought that the 10 hours of play would give me a few comps, maybe at least in September on a couple week days.

However, I checked today and not a thing has changed.

I know in the past while I haven't utilized comps, I've always had tons of weekday comps even with limited play.

However, I don't understand what's up now. While it's a great room it's a pain to taxi/jitney over from Harrahs.

I am strongly considering just playing at Harrahs in the future as it is the hotel I am staying at.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I know 10 hours isn't a lot, but I am sure several weekdays in September have hundreds of empty rooms, and I would assume they would want a person who could give them rake 10 hours a day rather than a guy playing at Harrahs.
