I'm not sure if Titanium card holders spend a lot of time eating at B&B.

To get Titanium you need to get up $5,000 compsin one year and I do believe you need a host to approve it after you reach that level of comps.

That's it? Just $5K comp dollars? Any ADT requirements or what not to go with that?

I've bumped into at least one there, and he was standing in line just like everyone else.

LOL @ $8k in comps in 20 days through playing poker.
This post is wrong on so many levels.

For one, I don't think they will give you titanium for purely poker play, regardless of whether you're playing 300/600 or not.

I'm asking how to get titanium, and I guarantee you that if the requirements are reasonable (unreasonable would be like you have to have a lifetime loss) I can get one. I'm going for 7 stars right now, and I could easily get a signature card but I'm not interested in that one.

There is no titanium cashier at B&B, have you even been there? In fact there's no titanium dedicated cashier anywhere. Titaniums do have the right to cut to the front of the line though.

And.. $8K comps is not possible thru playing poker for 20 days, you're right about that. But you apparently didn't read the part where I said I'm doing it through table games.

Anyone know chances of pink chip mix going today? I may start list in a couple hours.

Sorry to interrupt the bickering.

Delayed reply: Borgata is renovating all their rooms, anticipated to be done 1Q12. Therefore a rotating block of rooms will be offline through then. Reports are $50MM = $25,000/room.... that's a full renovation.

Yeah, the rooms could use some renovation. It's still one of the nicest places in town IMO (most comfortable beds/pillows), but even the crappier hotels have flat screen TVs in the rooms and what not.

I would say it's going to be a lot more then 25K a room for the suites, and probably half that amount for the regular rooms. Casinos can spend a million+ on their top end suites

A small face lift would definitely help the older rooms which are comfy but showing age. I hope they re-wire the HD better than at The Water Club. Twice in rooms on different floors it would take a solid 30 seconds plus to change a channel and have it load.

30 seconds lol, the TV in the water club has crashed on more then one occasion for me. It takes like 5 minutes for the thing to reboot.

Looking forward to the competition between the competition between The Revel and Borgata not only in the Poker room but also in the hotel rooms. Looks like it's already starting. The players will win this round.

Just funny to me how preferences are so different. I hate staying at the regular Borgata, because the beds and pillows are so terrible that I can barely sleep on them. Definately the worst I have ever had in any room that cost more than $30 per night. I like the ones at every other casino in AC 10 times better. This summer I finally got to start getting a good night's sleep by staying at the Water Club, but now it is about to be closed for the winter apparantly.

The water club is def a lot nicer. You know what it is though, for most of last year I practically lived at borgata (10 - 12 nights / month there), so I guess I just got used to it.

Also, how has the 2-5 been lately? As good as summer or no? Anyone who regularly plays, please chime in. Thanks

The 2/5 games are no where near as good as the summer 2/5 games, so please stay away lol. The last thing we need are more 2/5 regs in my games. Go to parx or somethin lolol.

There are only like 3 regs who have any idea how to actually play poker anyway

I've played 2/5 a couple times this month and found the tables to be ok. There was almost always one really obvious fish, along with a few below average players alongside your standard nits and solid players.

There is a cash register over on the side of B&B where you wait for to-go orders for titanium card holders. I've never seen a separate cashier anywhere else.

Next time you check in @ borg, look all the way to the left to the last station...it's titanium checkin.

All the info I gave in the post I got from players that got their titanium cards from playing in the big mixed game, I didn't make it up.

Um, that's for to-go orders for EVERYONE.

And yes, there is a VIP checkin for the hotel (and there's also usually a clerk with a Titanium Checkin sign in front of them at the water club when it's busy), and that's for titaniums and for players who their hosts deem as "VIPs"

Did the players who have the card also give the casino some tables/slots action? I highly doubt they got titanium cards purely from poker play.

Closed for the winter? I just booked 4 nights at Water Club for late December.

Turns out they are still open on the weekends, and certain busy weeks like Thanksgiving and Xmas I suppose. Midweek days in November and December are out.
