You seriously need to get a life. Ive stayed at the borg many times and use the internet all the time. Never had a problem.

Yeah... Borgata is running an elaborate scheme jobbing people using their Internet... RIGHT

I'm still gonna come up there on the reg, Stan and Mable (still recovering from surgery). Glad to see the action is hot and heavy on the limit games. Nice work. I think this cardroom's game lineup is evidence of where things are trending...

At 6:20 PM yesterday, I was playing $1-2 NLHE when our table almost hit the top-part of the bad beat jackpot ($294K)

On a 7-J-A board, two people went all-in post-flop with set of Jacks and set of Aces.
Turn was a Jack...
River was a 2...

All of us were STUNNED and took awhile to accept the terms. With 7 people, the loser would've won about $117K, the winner about $58K, and the remaining would've received $23K each. **SIGHS**

P.S. It turned out that another player held an Ace-rag and threw it away pre-flop. He didn't say that until after the disappointment stopped. LOL

Will be back to play next weekend, on may be my last visit to the Amphora as my Black Label expires next month.

im staying at the water club in a couple weeks. Would it be a problem fitting 6 people in a 2 bed room? Obviously people will crash on the floor ( we will all be playing poker for all hours so who knows how long we'd be actually in the room) But if we got 3 key cards and then each brought a guest with us up would that be a problem? Can you bring up 2 or more guests to your room with one key card? Thanks for the help.

The only time I've seen security stop someone from bringing a guest with 1 keycard is when some guy was trying to bring in an obvious hooker.

People do crap like put 6 - 8 people in a room all the time. Personally I won't allow more then 1 or 2 other people stay in my room.

I would add to this- If you are trying to bring alcohol to the room, I would try to put it into a duffel bag or in your rollers. I've seen them stop people bringing in brown bags that clearly contained a six pack and bottles of hard liquor. They are doing this to conform to state law- no BYOB.

It would be nice if they enforced the state smoking laws with even half as much zeal...especially in the poker room.

Ah, yes. I've seen them stop people with coolers. They're not gonna search your luggage though. If you really need to use a cooler then put it in a luggage bag.

Monday, the 17th - I just got an email from Borgata announcing the start of the $300,000 deep stack double play tournament is October 16th.

The email also makes an announcement about the freeroll and bonus comps - both of which start on October 1.

Good information, and I'm glad to get the emails, but couldn't they be a bit more timely?

Please and thank you.

Usually they are - this may just be a one time issue.

Thanks.

Lee

thanks guys, yeah I knew to hide the alchol.... likely just get a couple bottles in my bag. I have done that before just was worried about how many people I can bring up since I have never had more than 3-4 people stay in my room but we don't want to shell out 400 on a room just to sleep for a couple hours.

+1. Also get these rugs done already. Jfc. I'm tired of having 1/2 players near my area of the room. Also, these new rugs look hideous. Whomever chose the color/design of these rugs needs to be fired imho.
